Beyond Clean Tile is your local tile, grout and stone cleaning and restoration resource. We are located in Montgomery county and service The Woodlands, Lake Conroe, and Lake Livingston areas as well as Houston/Harris county and Huntsville. Whether we are cleaning tile, travertine or any other stone; our proprietary hot water cleaning and extraction system gets your surfaces clean quickly and safely. Because we use hot water, surfaces are sanitized and dry quickly. This means we can seal your surfaces sooner which is a big savings for you! If your stone has become stained, scratched, discolored or holes have become evident, you may find your stone no longer has the appearance you desire. Our services can bring the original luster you originally found appealing in your stone selection. The most common service performed on these surfaces are Deep Cleaning or Refinishing of natural stone floors. And each one that we evaluate is used differently. If you have pets or young children, you will need to maintain your floors differently than if there are only two adults in your home. With each completed service, Beyond Clean Tile provides customized maintenance suggestions tailored to your specific needs. One of our services that generates the most excitement is our color seal system which can change the color of your grout and provide sealed protection for the life of the tile. To complete our hard surface offering, our services also include wood cleaning of your flooring.

"The tile was installed prior to completing all the other rebuilding items after Hurricane Harvey so there was too much drywall and debris embedded in the tile for me to remove. The owner was very responsive once scheduled they stuck to the timing. The floors were so bad, that the 2 young men working got on their hands & knees to ensure they were able to get up as much as possible. They even came back the next day to finish up for no additional charge even though they should of charged more. Many in our neighborhood recommended them and we were very happy we went with them. Great service all the way around and same price as others quoted."

Stone and Gravel questions, answered by experts

A roller makes an excellent paint tool for brick. Using a roller can ensure the entire surface area gets painted evenly. If you choose a roller for painting brick, go for a thicker option, at least a half-inch. The key to using a roller while painting brick is making sure paint gets into the various crevices for even coverage.

The best type of rock for landscaping depends on your needs. If you want to build an affordable driveway, consider gravel. If you want an aesthetically pleasing patio, you can’t go wrong with flagstone. If you’re building a water feature, consider river rock as the base. Start by figuring out your landscaping project, then choose the best rock for that project.

Mortar and thinset both serve the same purpose—tile adhesion—but have different compositions and use-cases. Thinset is heatproof and presents a wide range of possibilities due to the added polymers. Mortar is typically used for bonding stones and brick. Thinset is rarely used outside, while mortar is rarely used inside.

Yes, you can paint stone on the exterior of a house. It’s important to properly prep the stone by cleaning off dirt and debris. You’ll want to apply at least two coats of paint to get the most even and complete coverage. Any pinholes or missed spots, however small, can allow moisture to get into the masonry and potentially cause the paint to blister and peel from the stone.

In certain cases, such as when dealing with surfaces like concrete rather than brick, grout can be used instead of mortar. Grout tends to be more convenient to work with on non-masonry surfaces. However, many experts suggest using mortar whenever possible, as it provides stronger adherence to the bricks and results in a more textured appearance.
