"From the first moment I contacted Alex I knew this would be a greta experience. He responded right away and gave me an estimate right away. He and his father showed up to look at my property for the project a couple of times to ensure they knew exactly what I wanted. We wanted to put up a building for an outdoor kitchen and living area and they did an amazing job! Since they finished we have literally spent more time out there than we have in the house. I have another project where I need a sliding gate built and installed on my property. As soon as I can afford it I will be calling Alex again. Please look at the work they have already done and rest assured it is good quality at a great price. I would recommend them for any metal building or fence projecr you have. You won't regret giving them your business!"

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.

Using concrete footers is the best way to secure a gazebo on a deck without drilling. The weight of the footers is more likely to hold your gazebo in place than other methods. You can also pour concrete into flower pots to create an aesthetically pleasing concrete footer or use concrete columns to make a statement.

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.
