"After a one week delay due to weather (subfreezing temperature snow and ice) his crew came out early, cut out and removed the existing walkways, and replaced them with new walkways. Concrete was poured into the forms, brush finished and the forms removed in a single day. Work was professionally done, and after the concrete cures, will provide a smooth surface for my parents and their walkers."

"I hired this company to resurface my 3 car garage. I was shocked to find I could have a glossy design for my budget... instead of just having my concrete fixed up. Thank you Mammoth!"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Installation typically takes 2-5 days, including preparation, pouring, and curing time.

It takes time for damage to accumulate on garage floors. After years without maintenance, they will show cracks, stains, and moisture damage while collecting layers of dust along the surface.

Epoxy coatings for concrete basement or garage floors are popular. These two-part resinous coatings are waterproof and highly durable, making them an ideal choice for high-traffic spaces or areas where spills are likely. However, epoxy flooring costs more to apply than concrete stains and doesn't produce a natural-looking finish.

Concrete sealers will help your garage floors resist water, but they will not make the floor waterproof. You will need to purchase a specific waterproof floor paint for concrete and apply several coats over several days if you want your garage floor to be truly impermeable. While the process is similar to sealing the floors, the materials are different, and the need for multiple coats will extend the process and drying time.

In most cases, yes, sealing concrete will stop spalling. However, it’s not a perfect solution—it may only delay spalling. Call your local concrete repair contractor for quotes on the best sealing options to prevent spalling.
