We are a small company the consists of only three employees. We normally do all the work required on a jobsite unless a third party is required for other services we don't offer. We except most methods of billing procedures. Materials must me purchased by customer needed for the job. Customer will only be charged for labor or special materials mentioned in the job contract!

Generally, toilet leaking is not an emergency unless the leakage is severe. You can stop a leak with plumber’s tape, but it’s not a recommended way to repair a leak. To install it, you have to dismantle the plumbing connection, apply plumber’s tape, and then re-install the pieces. 

There are better options for a temporary fix for leaking pipes, such as repair sleeves, epoxy compounds, or pipe clamps.

You’ll only need to replace your sink’s pipes when you start to notice signs of wear like corrosion or leaking. Most pipes last somewhere between 20 and 100 years, depending on the material. Copper and cast iron can last up to 100 years. Galvanized steel and brass generally have a 50-year lifespan. PVC pipes last 25 to 40 years.

The cost to fix a leaky pipe ranges depending on location—the easier the pipe is to access, the less expensive the repair will be. Because a leaky pipe under the sink is typically an exposed pipe, this is one of the least expensive repairs for a plumber to do, often costing between $150 to $300 to fix, on average.
