"Where do I start! My house flooded during the Texas storm and I’m still fighting with insurance. Task Force NTX has been my right hand support. Specifically Nelie, Justin Harris and Josh O’Neal. They have truly gone above and beyond during this frustrating and long process. Nelie is a true professional, always checking on the work and making sure that my needs are heard AND met. She doesn’t miss a beat which is crucial when dealing with something as serious as a flood/ mold. Plus, she has tons of knowledge of dealing with the complexities of a large project. Josh, my contractor, is amazing! I’ve been screwed over in the past by contractors and Josh has showed me what a truly good contractor is supposed to be. He goes out of his way to explain every detail of the construction process and gives me a realistic expectation. I’m always impressed by how efficient and precise he is. Before doing anything he checks in with me to make sure I am OK and never has an issue with the annoying requests from my insurance. I intend to make him my go to contractor for future projects in my home. Justin has been a great advocate when it comes to coordinating with my insurance. Allstate has been a disaster but Justin fights for me to get things covered. He also has a lot of knowledge and sets realistic expectations. If you are working with insurance, Justin will help make the process run smoother. I look forward to wrapping up this project soon but couldn’t wait to share my experience. I’m truly grateful!!"

"Those people were great. I knew them by their names because I knew them. They were actually recommended to me by the company I hired to add insulation to my attic. They told me about these 2 guys that had the business. I told them that I re-caulked my house every 2 or 3 years and they mentioned these guys to me. I called them and they came out; it was a father and son. I went around with them and they showed me what I have been doing wrong. It was roughly half of their retail price I paid. It was a big deal purchase. They had a special on the window sills; the normal caulking around the windows. The people I bought the house from had a glazing company come in and replace some of the windows with the wrong thickness of dual pane glass. The aluminum frame was made for one-half inch think dual pane windows. It was ready made in the factory. They put in three-eighths so I had an eighth of an inch gap about 4 of my windows. The seal had been compromised and there was fog inside the windows. I had the previous owner fix all that but he did it with the wrong glasses. Rhino Energy Solutions showed me that problem. Then I had him go in with a life time silicone caulk which is different than the normal caulking they use. He did the best fix he could do; it was short of replacing the window for all of the ones that was installed wrong. Two of them are in the living room. My wife and I immediately noticed that the amount of cold air blowing in from the north windows was reduced by them doing that. I had no idea that I even had that leak around the window. It takes somebody who knows glasses to see that there was an error over there. They did this in the same week I went from a 9 to a 39 R rating in my attic. It wasn’t possible to figure out how much I saved on my electric bill because of the caulking. I could feel the difference in the house. I went around with the father and the son and watched them do everything they did. They were pretty careful. This craftsman was willing to teach me part of his trade. I have been caulking my home myself since I bought it. He showed me how important it was to dig out the old caulk. He told me putting new caulk over old caulk doesn’t really work; it may be aesthetic. Their responsiveness was excellent. They showed up when they said they would be here."

"Kitchen Remodeling, If you are thinking of having your kitchen remodeled, then I have a story for you. Most online reviews begin with the horror stories of kitchen remodeling, NOT FOR US. The local company we hired was Tops, Inc out of Aubrey, Tx. The are one of the premier kitchen and counter top companies in the Dallas area. Our needs were to replace all but one of our kitchen counter tops. We kept our quartz island. We wanted to find a complementary color in the new counter tops that would make the kitchen look great and work with our island. We also wanted a new back splash and have our kitchen cabinets painted. The main partner of Tops Inc. is Steve Chambless @ 972-342-2000. Steve was great because he took the time to educate us on our options and to help us select the best one for our kitchen. No selling here, just good honest education so we could get the value we wanted for our money spent. These guys are a custom company, who do professional work, are excellent to work with and do what they say they will do. Their install crew was amazing, from start to clean up. They installed new 27 foot quartz counter top that looked like all one piece; no seam can been seen and with custom installed back splash. The kitchen cabinets are newly painted and look super. Their team took the time and effort to get things done right the first time, not just slam things in like some companies. While no job is perfect, like most of you, all we wanted was a custom professional job at a fair competitive price, and a company that will work with you and stand behind their work. That is just what we got. Steve explained to me their goal is to create happy customers because all their work comes from referrals and we can see why. That is why they are a 5 star rating on Home Advisor. Their price was very competitive and less than most of the 6 companies we interviewed. We are so very happy with the product and service they delivered and so glad we chose Tops, Inc.
