"Randy quoted a price for the job and that is exactly what it came to. He brought receipts for the materials that he purchased for the job as he said he would do. He said he would be at the job at 8 AM and he was there at 8 AM. He said the job would last one day, it lasted one day. He even called and let me know that they forgot to do something and would be back the next morning and he was. On a personal note, Randy knew I was going in for cancer surgery. He called and asked how I was doing from the surgery. I have never had a person who has done work for me care so much. Would I hire Randy and Chris again? I am going to in the next few weeks. I was very pleased."

Septic tank odors can happen because of a few different issues with your septic system, such as a full tank, clogged drains, or blocked venting systems. Not only is a smelly septic tank pretty unpleasant, but it can also pose a potential hazard to yourself and your home. Most households will need to pump their septic tank every three to five years. If you have a smaller tank or more people living in your home, you’ll likely be on the lower end of this spectrum (with less time between pumpings)—and vice versa if you have a bigger tank or live alone. Over time, your septic tank can accumulate a buildup of sludge at the bottom of the tank. If left unpumped and uncleaned, the sludge will back up into your pipes and home, causing failure and extensive (and smelly) damage. Repairs to your septic system can be costly, which is why regular maintenance is required. It takes about 30 minutes to pump a septic tank that’s 1,250 gallons or less or 1 hour for larger varieties.

You can replenish good bacteria in your septic tank by adding three rotten tomatoes or 1/4 ounce of yeast every three months. Put three overripe tomatoes in the garbage disposal while running the faucet. Or pour 1/4 ounce of yeast in the toilet and flush it down. These are the best natural ways to increase bacteria in your septic tank. Septic tank additives are not necessary and may even cause harm to your septic system.
