I enjoy working I started painting with my family at 5 years old stuck with that for a while. Then went to another company and got more experience in a different trade. I am willing to travel my goal next year is to be near Dallas but will travel back and fourth still. "This company was wonderful. They advised me a head of time that under circumstances they would be out as soon as possible they kept me informed and made sure they showed up the day they said at 5 o’clock in the evening and worked until 9 o’clock at night and then came back the next morning. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after tree trimming."

"I was thoroughly impressed with the communication and professionalism of everyone involved at Ultimate Asphalt Paving From beginning to end it was a great experience and we felt like we were part of the Ultimate Asphalt family. Texting to keep us up-to-date in real time is a huge benefit. Having our entire driveway removed and replaced could have been very stressful. It was actually a fun and almost exciting experience instead."

"Did a great job on drainage trouble at my home. Took creativity and ingenuity and the results are awesome. They did the work exactly as stated in the bid, discussed progress daily and finished ahead of schedule. Am already discussing the next project I look forward to them doing for me."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

The layer of polymeric sand under the pavers plus the polymeric sand that gets swept into the joints between your pavers holds them in place in a few ways. For one, the gritty texture of the sand helps lock the pavers together. Polymeric sand also contains bonding agents that get activated by water. Polymeric sand will take between 24 and 48 hours to fully cure, so do not walk on your paver walkway before this time.

In most cases, you don’t need a permit to repave your driveway, although some exceptions exist. If you’re widening your driveway and plan on widening the apron as well, you’ll usually need a permit from the Department of Transportation in your area. This permit costs between $50 and $300 in most cases. Most municipalities will also require a certified and insured contractor do the work relating to the apron and curb cut. You can contact your building department or ask your paving company if you need a permit. Your driveway professional will usually pull the permit for you.

A driveway approach is the part of a driveway where the public road meets the private driveway. This section contains several key elements, including the driveway apron, the curb cut, and the end slope. Depending on the slope of the driveway, this area may also contain the trench drain.

Yes, with colored finishes and decorative stamping for a personalized touch.

The ideal distance between stepping stones depends on your design preference. A general rule is to place them about 24 inches apart from center to center to match an average person's stride. Another common approach is to leave about 6 inches of space between the edges of each stone; this can be adjusted to fit the path's total length without cutting pavers. If you plan to plant between the stones, leave at least 6 to 8 inches of space to give the plants room to grow.
