I had a problem with my garage door and this company was sent out by my home warranty company. I ended up replacing the garage door opener. This was about 6 months ago. After some time, the door wouldn't close properly and I noticed that the safety sensors weren't lighting up. It would come and go like there's a bad connection somewhere. So, I finally had them come out and look. The owner, Shaun, said it would be covered by the warranty if it turns out to be an installation problem. So, the technician came out and I watched him the whole time. There is a wire that goes from the garage door opener to the sensors through the attic. He connected the wire from the opener to the wire that goes into the attic himself during the installation last time. Now, he removes the black tape, disconnects the wire and reconnects that same wire and immediately the sensor lights came on. That's the only wire he touched. The one he connected himself last time. Pretty obvious that he did a poor job with the wiring during installation. This is where the disturbing part starts. Instead of apologizing for the bad installation, he claims that while he was reconnecting that wire, he pulled the wire that goes into the attic and claims that it was a problem with the existing home wire. His "magic pull" fixed the home wire. I was standing there the whole time he was reconnecting his bad connection and this... unbelievable. Technician guy then calls Shaun and he's on the phone for like 10-15 minutes and came back again saying it won't be covered by warranty since it's a problem with home wire. I then tried talking to Shaun. Left him 3 messages over several days. He wouldn't call back. Wow!!! All this so that he can keep $59. How sad is that? Don't waste your time and money with this company. Skill is not the only thing lacking with this company.
