"The young man who cleaned the vents and the HVAC filters in the attic was professional and timely. I'm not an expert in grading this service, but I presume he was thorough. The service took about 2 hours. I gave them a B for only two reasons: they rescheduled several times, and he tried to sell me a $350 seal/sanitize package, which I declined. I do plan to use them for HVAC cleaning twice a year.

"My 1950, 860 ft house had 20+ yr old dusty, pink insulation, that was even worse after the city revamped utility vaults & pushed rats into the neighborhood. I chose S.R Insulation to vacuum out, caulk open voids, and re-blow insulation. The owner set up an appointment quickly. On the day of service, he did call 15 minutes late to advise of an issue. The 3 person team arrived within an hour, set up the vacuum and bags, then removed insulation; original, wood-shingle slips; and ducting left by A/C techs. They worked between 3 to 4 hours and said they would return next business day. The two part installation, gave me an idea - I asked for an extension, so I could repair ceiling sheet rock while the attic was void. The owner agreed. He did not require partial payment. Three weeks later, I rescheduled. The install was even quicker, filling up to the stud height in white, blown insulation. He leaves behind a cardboard measuring stick to show you. The difference inside the house was immediate. I will not provide calculations, as I added front load washer/dryer to the electric usage at this same time. Later, I found my stove top vent fan blocked. I was able to pull out material from the duct, and the fan worked. Therefore I did not call the owner about this. I paid less than $1500, and thought it fair. I would use S.R. Insulation again and recommend them."

Leaves things in better condition than they were before he started. If there is a problem, he discusses your options. I bought a house last year, when he went to clean the return air ducts he discovered they were stuffed with filthy insulation (the contractor for the previous homeowner was lazy); he explained that it should not be there. "Our refrigerator died while we were out of town. We called Appliance Fixx the next day; even though they are not in Dallas, they had a repairman in the area that day and were able to work us in. It turned out that the compressor was fine, just a part that activates the compressor had failed. He repaired it on the spot.
However, that part failed a week later! Must've been a manufacturing defect. They company scheduled and sent the repairman out again -- it took some time -- and he replaced it again with no additional charges. It has been fine since.
