"I had an excellent experience with this carpet cleaning company. They arrived on time, were professional and friendly, and did a fantastic job making my carpets look and smell fresh again. The difference was night and day! Pricing was fair, and the service was top-notch. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality carpet cleaning."

"My 1950, 860 ft house had 20+ yr old dusty, pink insulation, that was even worse after the city revamped utility vaults & pushed rats into the neighborhood. I chose S.R Insulation to vacuum out, caulk open voids, and re-blow insulation. The owner set up an appointment quickly. On the day of service, he did call 15 minutes late to advise of an issue. The 3 person team arrived within an hour, set up the vacuum and bags, then removed insulation; original, wood-shingle slips; and ducting left by A/C techs. They worked between 3 to 4 hours and said they would return next business day. The two part installation, gave me an idea - I asked for an extension, so I could repair ceiling sheet rock while the attic was void. The owner agreed. He did not require partial payment. Three weeks later, I rescheduled. The install was even quicker, filling up to the stud height in white, blown insulation. He leaves behind a cardboard measuring stick to show you. The difference inside the house was immediate. I will not provide calculations, as I added front load washer/dryer to the electric usage at this same time. Later, I found my stove top vent fan blocked. I was able to pull out material from the duct, and the fan worked. Therefore I did not call the owner about this. I paid less than $1500, and thought it fair. I would use S.R. Insulation again and recommend them."

"Very professional. Very friendly. Explained process and what to expect. Covers floor under vent incase anything may fall out. Works efficiently. Leaves things in better condition than they were before he started. If there is a problem, he discusses your options. I bought a house last year, when he went to clean the return air ducts he discovered they were stuffed with filthy insulation (the contractor for the previous homeowner was lazy); he explained that it should not be there. No wonder my air conditioner was working sooo hard last year. We cleaned it out and he helped me seal the hole where pipes were going under the house to keep bugs from coming up. I have had to work with a number of contractors with my mortgage warranty and hate it. There are so many contractors out there trying to run up your bill and not do a good job. I was so happy to find Home Advisor and this company. I would HIGHLY recommend Aero Duct Cleaning. He is working in your best interest."

Dryer Vent Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You should clear your dryer lint trap after every cycle, but a deeper clean is needing only one a year. Failure to clear your lint trap regularly results in lint building up over time, making it harder to clean and more expensive.

The main factor to a full lint trap is what you are drying. Clothing or textiles made of heavy natural materials, like wool sweaters or cotton towels, generally create more lint than synthetic fibers. If you wash the same type of clothes all the time and suddenly start to notice more lint, that may be a sign that your dryer vent is getting clogged and you need to call in a pro for a professional cleaning.

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

No, air ducts and dryer vents are not the same. The dryer vent is connected to a specific appliance, the dryer, and is meant to direct the hot, moist air from the washed clothes to the outside of the home. Air ducts move air from the HVAC system around the home. It’s essential to schedule cleanings for the dryer vent and the air ducts.

To optimize airflow and energy efficiency, regularly clean vents and replace air filters, schedule periodic professional duct inspections, and seal any visible leaks. Proper maintenance prolongs ductwork longevity and performance.
