"The Installers G, Paul M., Will W., and John did an amazing job. There was a good bit of miscommunication from the consult to the install, we had a â custom showerâ . The install team handled it perfectly. There were bumps along the actual install process that were unforeseen. Again, the team handled it wonderfully! They were great about checking in and making sure we truly got what we wanted. Definitely recommend this company and install team. Be very precise about what you want during the consult. Looking back I probably would have seen if they could upload the photo of what the goal was, instead of just showing the sales person. The installers are ultimately who really needed to see that to make the picture become a reality."

"FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE, from initial planning through clean-up. High-quality materials. The workmanship is excellent, much better than most in San Antonio. The installers are true craftsmen, and pay attention even to the most minor details. They are very friendly and courteous; patiently answer all questions. They completed the work ahead of time and the clean-up was very thorough. Special "shout-out" to the lead installer, Evan."

In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Typically, most appliances last anywhere from 10 to 15 years, depending on the appliance, brand, and amount of use. Keeping a regular maintenance schedule, including cleaning and tune-ups, also helps appliances last longer. Dryers, gas stoves, and refrigerators tend to last the longest, averaging about 13 to 15 years. Microwaves and dishwashers tend to last about 10 years on average.
The cost of home appliances ranges from $350 to $8,000 or more, depending on the brand, type of appliance, and features. Additional cost factors include any hookups that need to be installed, such as gas, plumbing, or electrical. Keep in mind that major appliances, such as refrigerators, washers and dryers, and water heaters, will cost more than minor appliances, such as microwaves, due to the size, complexity, and essential nature of the item.
The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350.
