Mr Martinez was the Roof Specialist who oversaw the work & he was great. He sShowed up when he said he would and they were so fast to get to our repairs. We were coping with rain showers and they worked to get there the first available day. Solved several issues with our roof that had leaks due to bad ridge vent, glued some shingles, and resealed metal areas. Nice guys. Also left no mess! Highly recommend!

Our house is about 20 yrs old. Our issue was sewer smell and flies in the master bath. We had researched online and tried many remedies, but none worked. When the plumber arrived, I was shocked that they removed their shoes before entering our home! That was a nice touch! I then realized that he was not alone, but had a full team with him. We all gathered in the bathroom and I fully explained the problems we were having. He explained that he would first take a look into the pipes with a camera to diagnose any blockages or broken pipes. The camera uncovered some interesting issues. The lines were covered in "debris" and "sludge" that the camera was not very efffective. His team then was able to "clean" the line with presserized water to allow the camera to better see. After the pipes were cleared from years of sludge, it was determined that our line in the slab was not installed properly and it has a "bow" in it which causes the water and sludge to stand. The pipe still had a good flow, so his team decided that it was not an issue that was in need of immediate repair. The team then returned to the bathroom and removed the cover to our shower drain, tub drain and sink drains to determin if standing water in these was the issue. They determined that all were draining porperly and sealed properly and not allowing for standing water for flies to breed. He then asked if he could remove the toliet because it was the likely source of the smell and the flies. Upon removal, it was discovered that the "flange" was cracked and was allowing seepage under the toliet. The flange was not adjusted or a new one installed peoperly when the bath was remodeled and tile was put in about 5 years ago. It seems the plumber who installed the tolied after the tile was put in simply chose to tighten the toilet without having the flange at the proper height. This caused the flange to be put under stress and eventually crack and cause release of gas and sludge under the toliet through the crack. The reason it did not leak from under toilet was because the remodeling contactor also used tile morter to seal the toliet base to the tile. The plumbing team replaced the damaged flange and installed a new flange at the proper height. The toilet was also reinstalled with new wax seals and new bolts. As a courtesy, he also changed out our water line because it was a cheaper plastic one. He recommended the metal hose connections asthey will last much longer and have a very small history of failure. Again, he replaced at no charge while explaining. After watching his service team analyse the issue and not jump to conclusions or try to sell me services I really didn't need, I asked about another issue. Our house is about 20 yrs old and believe it or not, we were still using the original water heater that wasinstalled when the house was built. I'm not a plumber, but I did know that it ws time to replace as I did not wish to return to a flooded house one day soon. John Gause team looked at the heater and again analysed. He offered two options of replacement sizes he recommended and offered very comfortable pricing. Needless to say, I now have all of my issues repaired and a brand new water heater at far less than I was expecting to pay. Thanks to the team I met, John, Brad, Keith and Spencer. Needless to say I think they really went above and beyond and I feel confident in their work.

Because of this delay, I got a quote from another provider and Sustainable Trees was less expensive.
Since it was the first time they had worked in this city, they had to provide a lot of documentation and permitting was delayed. They would now be on Temple Terraces approved Provider List.
When they were able to start cutting, the tree over the house was found to be split and more dangerous to cut than expected. They had to work very carefully. It then started to heavily rain. They were forced to come back another day.
On the second day, they were successful in removing the dying split tree. They thoroughly ground out the stumps as well as the entire flowerbed. We had just purchased this property and the flowerbeds were overgrown with weeds, saplings and trash trees. By grinding them thoroughly, they saved me hours of work. They ground the wood to mulch and helped move it around my yard to save me energy and time.
Since it had taken awhile to finish the contracted job, they asked if we could negotiate a price and continue the rest of the day. I had some heavy jobs, moving Ligustrums and Gardenias to new locations as well as trimming some of the overgrown decorative trees and palms. Afterwards, I took a Master's Level Palm Care class and the recommendations made by Danny were accurate to what I learned in my class.
The crew was very polite and nice. They worked very hard. I would work with them again in the future.

Unlike other mold companies I had contacted about our problem, he was very good at explaining what was going on with my house in a manner that didn't seem calculated to make me scared (and justify a higher price, as I think some of the national mold remediation companies are apt to do). He was always very prompt and very communicative with regards to the work being done. While he does seem to have a very busy schedule, Daryl was always willing to meet with us when we had concerns about the project and really took the time to reassure us that what seemed like a terrible situation wasn't the end of the world.
Not only did he make the whole process as easy and stress-free as finding your home to be full of mold could be, but he did an excellent job! The restored walls are seamless and you can't even tell that half the drywall had to be cut away and replaced.
Overall, I cannot recommend MoldEx highly enough. A really great company doing really great work.

I was still getting heat, but with a whole lot of noise and the motor seemed to be straining to keep up (this was during the big cold snap in January). My outside unit (a Rheem) was 19 years old, and the inside unit possibly older. I had done about $500 in repairs the summer before, and after I bought the house 11 years ago I had to replace the compressor and throughout the years have other minor maintenance and repairs. Anyway, I called a company I have used before to take a look at it. They said it was a txv? valve and that it would cost between $600 and $900 to repair. They also said I should not run my air conditioner until the problem was fixed (this made me nervous because no one wants to be without a/c in Texas, even in the "winter"). They recommended I consider replacing the unit. That sounded reasonable as I did not want to keep pouring money into an old system, plus a newer one would undoubtedly be more energy efficient and save money on the electric bill. I arranged to get some bids (I ended up with five). The salesman from the company that diagnosed the problem told me I had to do a lot of things (like replacing the corrugated metal pipe over my stove to bring it up to code), that ended up not being required. Bids ranged from about $5300 (without new ductwork) to $14,000 (with new ductwork). Except for the first company, I felt like the other companies were being honest in giving me a bid and advice on whether or not to replace the existing ductwork; they seemed professional and answered all my questions. I had done some research and knew about what SEER I could afford and learned a little about the different major manufacturers. I also considered warranty. I prepared a chart of the pros and cons of each proposed system, price, company personnel, etc. and asked a ton of questions. I took about a month to make my decision. I had a good feeling about the person from Mullinex, Jerry Brewer, because he seemed very knowledgeable, honest, and he was very patient in answering all the questions. (The office person I spoke with, Amy, was also very friendly and professional.) When a couple of people I trust (who were not bidding for the job) told me their first choice of equipment was American Standard, which is what Mullinex sells, that helped me make my final decision to go with Mullinex. The installers showed up on time, were professional, cleaned up after themselves, and showed me how to work the new digital thermostat. They even installed the carbon monoxide/smoke detectors I had purchased for me at no extra charge. Mr. Brewer was on site at various times to oversee things, or bring parts, etc. The job took two partial days to complete and I was very comfortable having the installers in my home. The system is working great (don't have my first full-month electric bill yet, so savings yet to be determined). The inspection by the City of Bryan went great and the inspector commented that the company had done a good job. And while this was an unplanned major purchase, I at least don't have to worry about my a/c breaking down in the heat of the summer. I would definitely recommend Mullinex.

Ralf was an amazing help to me when we needed to replace our metal roof. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone.

It all went very well. Landscaper came when he said he would and worked several days to complete the project. The stones he used are large and look great with the metal bison statues. We are very pleased with the project.

Metal fabrication is a large umbrella term that can include bending metal, welding, cutting, stamping, drilling, forging, and casting. Metal fabricators often have quite a few pieces of specialized machinery and experience in the different forms of fabrication, which means they’re able to handle many different forms of metal work. An experienced metal fabricator might be able to tackle everything from creating metal siding or roofing from raw materials to constructing a custom wrought iron fence.
The average hourly rate for a metal fabricator is around $70, but the scope of your project will play a big role in your total costs. A good way to get an estimate for your metal fabrication project is to multiply the cost of raw materials by four. A quarter of your total typically goes toward material, and three quarters goes toward labor. Some factors that can influence your metal fabrication costs include the difficulty of your project, the metal you’re using, and your specified design.
A welder is a metal worker that uses heat and specialized tools to bind metal together, while a sheet metal worker more often uses cold methods to bend thin sheets of metal into shape for siding, roofing, or some other application. A metal fabricator might use one or both of these metal working techniques, along with others, to provide a wider range of services. In many cases, a metal fabricator is the most likely to be able to handle your metal project.
