Extremely well !! I had previously used Southwestern Roofing crews for fencing, roof, skylight replacement and exterior painting. Called them back for all the interior work. The crew of Jose Morales, Pablo, and Dante provided very excellent service all the way around. My 38-year old house had never been painted inside, and had many sheet rock repair issues due to having my plumbing replaced in 2003 and walls never repaired, stains from plumbing and roof leaks (repairs to plumbing and roof previously fixed), issues with old termite damage, etc. Jose and his crew did a fantastic job on all these wall issues, repairing sheet rock wherever needed, prepping all wall areas for painting including texture where needed, and then doing the painting of drywall, doors, and trim. Their painting was absolutely professional and my house looks brand new (I've seen painting done by other 'professionals', and Jose's crew was far and above). Painting was done exactly as I wanted, and if they noticed something that needed re-doing, they took care of right away. The crew took close attention to detail. They also installed new porcelain tile floors in my kitchen and one bathroom (removing old vinyl) and in master bath (removed carpet). This floor installation was done flawlessly, and the floors are extremely level (even others have noticed this!). The floors are gorgeous! I had my kitchen and bath counters replaced with a quartz product - this crew did not handle that as they handle granite only - but they did install a gorgeous new kitchen back splash. They also made sure the plumbing and cook top was disconnected before counter installation, and re-connected after. As an added bonus, since the bathroom floors were being replaced and the toilets had to be taken up, they also installed new water-saving toilets. Jose Morales, as the lead, was an excellent lead person on this project. If there was ANY problem (even things originally done when house was built), he made sure it was fixed and done correctly. The whole crew was very honest, hard working, and very professional. I am VERY pleased with my 'new' home!!

Gary was our contact and he was very knowledgable and punctual. His estimate was clear and we understood exactly what everything cost. The roofers did an exceptional job and were done in two days. Their pricing was VERY competitive.

Southwestern Roofing replaced my entire roof a few years back and did a stellar job. This repair was completed with the same degree of professionalism. I would hire them again.

Roofing/Skylights/gutters/exterior painting/fencing I recently had my roof replaced along with two replacement skylights that were leaking and gutters that were sagging. I had used Southwestern Roofing 22 years ago because of an insurance-paid roof replacement. Although insurance did not pay for it this time, when I realized needed a new roof and skylights due to inspection (roof was old and skylights were now 38 years old and leaking), immediately called Southwestern Roofing again because loved their previous service and felt confident they would do an excellent job. Besides roof, also contracted for new gutters, exterior painting, and fencing replacement. Gary Pinina, the Senior Sales Consultant (same person from 22 years ago, in fact, he's been with Southwestern Roofing about 25 years), always treated me as a special customer. In fact, he always says that delighting the customer is very important to him and Southwestern Roofing, and I believe it! He takes a personal interest in the situation and in how their company can best provide service to meet the need and give competitive pricing. Roofing/Skylights/Gutters - Julio, the roofing lead, was very effective in leading his crew on the roof/skylight replacement; the skylights fit perfectly and no more leaks!! They did a beautiful job on the roof, and cleaned up the yard and flower beds very well after the job was done. They worked very effectively as a team. The gutter guys did a great job in fashioning new gutters to effectively handle water flow and no more sag! Neighbors have commented on how beautiful the new roof and gutters are, so I have frequently shared Gary's and Southwestern Roofing contact information. Exterior Painting - after roof and gutter replacement, Southwestern Roofing also did the exterior painting on my house. The lead painter - Moses - was excellent. They matched exactly a paint I had chosen and used in a small area on the front of my house (from a different manufacturer). His small crew (2-3 people in total) completed exterior painting on my one-story house in 2 days, including power washing the entire house (including all brick) and driveway and patio areas. Before painting, they also, upon request, replaced a few pieces of fascia board (that had rotted) around the garage, and a couple of pieces of Hardie board that had gotten broken away on a corner. These areas now look brand new. They also caulked all seams and areas that needed it. The painting crew worked very effectively as a team, and my house now absolutely SPARKLES! Again, neighbors have commented on how beautiful the paint job is. Fencing - When my 38-year old cedar fence needed replacement - actually, it was LONG overdue - called upon Southwestern Roofing and their fencing company, Superior Fencing Ltd. I had known that Southwestern Roofing had a fencing company, and had seen a fence they had done for one of my friends, upon my recommendation, and it was gorgeous. Gary Pinina, the Senior Sales Consultant, worked to give me an estimate for the fencing, and I had confidence that it would be a beautiful fence, due to the previous work I had seen them do. Francisco, the fencing lead with Superior Fencing, expertly lead his crew and I could tell they really enjoyed their work. They worked effectively as a team to keep the work moving along all day, and finished my fence in just one day, including the building and installation of two gates. They built the fence of good quality cedar pickets and with three boards to nail into (top, bottom, and middle) - so the fence is very strong. My neighbors and others coming to the house have commented on how beautiful the fence is. The new gates work wonderfully. The fence and gates are just beautiful, and such a joy to have such a great replacement - makes the yard look so much better. I am extremely pleased with this new roof, skylights, gutters, paint job, and fencing - and highly recommend Gary, Julio, Moses, Francisco, and the Southwestern Roofing company and Superior Fencing Ltd. for roofing/gutter work, painting, and fencing services.

Everything went great thanks to Gary Pinina, the Senior Sales Consultant.  I was impressed with both the workmanship and professionalism of all the workers who came onto my property.  The roof job took 1 and a half days and kudos to Domingo and his crew for staying up there and hustling in 95 degree heat. The mastermind of all this however, was Gary, who very efficiently managed to get the appropriate people on site as they were needed.  The few times that I needed to call Gary, he was always available to answer my questions.  Southwestern was very competitive on pricing.  I would definitely use Southwestern Roofing again and recommend them to any homeowner who is looking for quality home improvements.

Esteban and his team were prompt, courteous, and communicated well. I have hired numerous contractors to work on updating this home, and these guys by far impressed me more than anyone else. They made a bid, completed the work promptly (how they did it so fast, I don't know...especially being the perfectionists they were), and didn't charge more than the original bid (a rarity, I have found).
Raul, who did the brick work, put in a lot of hours and his work really shows.
They used high-quality materials - the siding is nice and sturdy, and looks great.
We would highly recommend them to anyone, and will be using them again, I have no doubts.

Southwestern Roofing was a joy to work with and I'd highly recommend them to others.

Recently we had a day of heavy rain and the roof leaked and water damaged a ceiling in my house.  I called Southwestern Roofing the next day and they came out a few hours later, pinpointed the leak, and offered to patch it or re-roof the house.  The roof was about 17 years old and multiple roofers had told me last year that it was nearing the end of ifs life so we decided it was time to redo it all.

We decided to have Southwestern Roofing re-do the roof for a number of reasons:

2. We had Southwestern Roofing's sister company Superior Fencing replace our fence last year and they did a great job
3. Southwestern quoted us a very competitive price to re-do the roof.
4. When you deal with the company they give you the cell phone number of the company's president and he's always available to take your calls and answer your questions and he is VERY responsive.  For example, he was at my house a few hours after I called them.
5. The president of the company (and the company itself) are straight shooters -- no nonsense, no games, no pressure tactics to do additional work, etc.
6. They have been around for 35 years, have high marks at the BBB, and have won multiple Angie's List awards over the last few years

Anyway, they came out a few days later and got started.  They were running late that day but did start on the day promised and worked hard for the next several days to complete the job.

They finished up the roof and rebuilt my chimney with Hardi trim and the roof looks great.  Their foreman spoke English so he could answer my questions, they cleaned up after each day's work, and when they were done they went around the house with giant rolling magnets to find all of the stray roofing nails.

We just had a week of heavy rains (6+ inches) and all is well with no leaks anywhere including where it had leaked previously.
I wish all companies were as straightforward to deal with as Superior Roofing is.  Highly recommended.

Southern General Contractors came out to find and repair a roof leak.  As I had no idea of the shape of the roof I was expecting bad news but it was found that on one area the cap was metal and had rusted through.  I really did appreciate that pictures were taken of all the areas on my roof so I could understand what was being said as to the state of the roof and repair work needed.

The good news was the roof was in good shape and the metal cap just needed to be replaced.  After talking this over with my husband we decided to have the roof repaired but also the vent work and cement on the chimney top.

On the first clear day the team arrived went quickly to work, got the job done, cleaned up and was off.  The leak has been fixed and I am thankful!

The only comment I do have is I would have like to have seen after pictures of the work done too as I will never be up on the roof myself to check it out.

Other than that, great job. 

Gary Pinina , Southwestern's Senior Sales Consultant was wonderful.  I cannot say enough great things about this company. As you can see, we had a lot of work that needed to be done to our home. I loved the crews because they worked hard and efficiently in a timely manner. I was amazed by what a terrific job they did in a short period of time. Gary always answered my phone calls or when I did leave a message he returned my call immediately.  He listened to what we wanted and made sure that it was taken care of without question.  Southwestern was one of four estimates that I received for the job.  I was strongly leaning toward another company but after meeting with Gary, we knew he would do a good job for us.  I have never had a contractor that cared so much about doing a good job and making us happy with the end result. I would highly recommend Southwestern and Gary as the consultant.

The cedar fence was installed incredibly fast with and is extremely well done.  They were in and out in 3.5 hours including tear down and haul off of the old fence.  The metal fence was a completely different story.  The fence was really two different fences.  One was a 7' section that needed to be shorter than the norm because of a tree.  It also included a gate.  The fence and particularly the gate were supposed to match an existing metal fence.  The other section was just a straight 5' long and 6' high section.  They showed up the first day with only the pieces for section with the gate.  The guys that showed up knew nothing about the other section.  They proceeded to install the posts and my wife noticed that it looked like they were installing them so that the gate would swing from the wrong side and they wrong way.  They told her they could just cut the hinges off of the one side and weld them to the other.  We called their supervisor who came out and made them dig up their posts and start over.  The gate hardware they installed did not match the hardware from the existing fence.  Their estimator had even taken pictures of the existing gate to work from.  The next day they showed up with the other section of fence but it was only 5.5' tall, not 6'.  They wanted to go ahead and install it and come back later with the correct one.  We refused to accept it.  In the meantime, my wife found a piece of pipe from our sprinkler system in the dirt where they had installed the first section.  We tested our sprinkler system and sure enough it just bubbled out of the ground by the new fence.  When confronted, they said they were planning to fix it.  The next day, they showed up with the correct fence and installed it.  They also dug up and fixed the broken sprinkler pipe.  They left before I had a chance to inspect their work.  We had to have them come back and repaint the fence and repair the "extra" hole they left in the corner board of our garage.  They also had to touch up the garage where they had gotten the black fence paint on it.  We are finally happy with the fence we ended up with but we cannot recommend them for the building/installation of metal fencing.  For wood fences they are great.

We've used them before and they've been very good about telling us that our roof did not need replacing but with it iexceeding 20 years old and it's shingles curling our new insurance company insisted on it.  SW even wrote them a letter that the roof was functional to buy us time but no dice.  We got 3 bids and all were similar but we chose Southwestern because we have used them for both roof repairs and painting before and had good experiences.  They did a good job explaining our options with an eye towards a cost-effective but attractive roof appropriate for our house.

They were, as always, polite and good communicators and nice to my dog.  When they finished we noticed several lights and the deck handrail were not as they were.  They had been burned out/broken BEFORE Southwestern came and now they were fixed :-)   They left the workplace BETTER than they found it.  They also arranged some of my plants so attractively that I'm keeping them exactly that way even while moving them to another corner.  Of course everything else was clean and no nails left around.

Things went pretty smoothly.  They were expecting the job to take four days, but it ended up taking about six.  This was due to weather, not any problems or slowness on their part.  We had rain and freezing conditions that intervened.  The did a great job.  The house looks better than it has in years.  We will certainly be calling them again the next time we need work done.

Southwestern replaced our roof several years ago and did a great job.  Nice crew did good work.  Cleaned up well after the job was finished.  Replaced some rotted wood, fixed an issue with siding where two levels of the house came together, replaced inadequate flashing and painted everything that needed it.  Our roof line is not a simple one.  We have dormer windows with only a partial second story so there are upper roofs shedding water onto lower roofs.  We were having ongoing minor leaks and problems with these overlap areas.  Southwestern fixed all of it.
A year later we had a minor leak during a bad storm.  I called their office and Esteban, the crew leader on our replacement job, was at our house that day.  One of the seals around a vent stack had failed.  He applied new sealant and we have had no recurring issues.
Esteban suggested we should consider having roof maintenance done every few years to avoid future problems.  We can't get up on the roof any more to do this ourselves.  So we called this year to have that done (several years after they replaced our roof).  They sent someone out to re-caulk all of the seals and check everything out.
We got quotes from 5 different companies prior to hiring Southwestern for the original roof replacement.  This was before we joined Angie's List.  Southwestern was head and shoulders above the rest we spoke to.  Several of the people who called on us were high pressure types that made us uncomfortable and wanted to sign a contract on the spot.  Southwestern (Esteban) was professional and thorough in approach and presentation.  We are still happy we chose them and highly recommend them with no hesitation.

The people.  People make the difference.  Hard to find honest, well-intentioned folk who work professionally, punctually, are straight-talkers and want to make sure the customer has the best experience possible throughout.  And that's what made the difference.  Gary Pinina of Southwestern Roofing is the epitome of this and not only met but exceeded my expectations with the fine work done in my backyard.
My vision was to provide a family retreat to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and I had a specific vision of what I needed.  I quoted 3 other patio roofing companies, and had both higher and lower quotes when compared to Southwestern.  Ultimately, it came down to Gary's listening to my needs and confirming what could and couldn't be done, as well as his suggestions.  Not to mention I had a solid reference not too far away and I was pleased with their work. Knowing they were not a patio roofing company per se, I was convinced enough to pursue their services. 
Let me say that the contractors involved are true artists.  Raul almost single-handedly built the roof, added the brick, and stained the wood and even built a wall-in cabinet which went well with my TV.  Pedro handled the stamped concrete; quick, easy and significantly cheaper than stone - done with great detail.  Jose the electician met the challenge of a 220V connection to my breaker on the other side of the house by thinking outside the box. 
Aside from the high quality of workmanship and the professionalism of the contractors, what put this experience over the top was attention to detail as well as fixing any hiccups that came along.  A few cracked bricks in the column?  Replaced within days.  Gutter has a slight leak?  Fixed the next day.  Small hole drilled into ceiling?  Drywalled within the week.  Even the damage done to my grass due to heavy traffic was replaced at no additional cost.  These are the small things that are usually swept aside and sought to be forgotten on clients.  Not with Gary and Southwestern Roofing; these were readily addressed and taken seriously.
Timing was excellent.  Coordinating different contractors is no easy task and while there were some gaps of time to wait, none were significantly long enough to interrupt the overall flow of progress. 
Pricing was honored at 100%, no unforeseeables or hidden charges.  Communication was streamlined; I was either texting or emailing Gary, and when I needed to talk, he was calling me within the hour. 
Hard to summarize in a few lines what great service I received and what a privelege it was to work with these gentlemen.  If visual backing to these words is needed, I am happy to provide photos of the work.  I am a hard-working professional like most out there and we all know money doesn't grow on trees, so you want to make sure your money is well spent, particularly with such an important project.  Absolutely no regrets. 

This is a great company that does good work and on time.
I have used them on other houses we owned in past for roof repairs, installing ridge vents and new roofs and they always do a good job at a fair price.

Their pricing was very reasonable. Their employees were really well qualified. They really knew what they were doing. I had two old roofs that were still on the house and they had to take both of them off. They did a really good job about taking them off and cleaning everything up. The quality of their work, their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were excellent. I was just very impressed with these people. I am going to recommend these guys to other people. They just did a really good job all around.

Southwestern painted the house quickly, but carefully. Very good quality work with no surprises in the bill except a small amount extra for the gutters that I thought were included in the original estimate, which came to just over $100 more. The only very small glitch was the way gutters were mounted, but I had no trouble working with the people who installed the gutters; after sending some example photos of how I preferred the gutters, they came out and made them exactly how I wanted them exactly as they promised, and quickly. All in all Southwestern Roofing made it quick and painless to have our house looking like new.

The walls and ceilings (living room has a cathedral ceiling)  were heavily stained with tobacco smoke from the previous owner.  A friend gave me Southwest Roofing as a reference. So I called the office and Estaban came over for the estimate; he was very professional. It was my third estimate.
I decided to do the first floor and hallway in June of 2011. This was about 2 months before I signed up on Angie's List. The upstairs rooms and one closet were repainted  in  September of 2011. The three workers were on time and hard-working for both projects. Work was completed within estimated time frames for both projects. I also bought several air vents to replace the originals, which were installed by the workers on the last day of work.
