"Home town company that does a great painting job at a fair price. The workers were very cordial and helpful. At the completion, they went to each room and made sure paint was only where it should be.They did such a great job, I hired them to do the exterior doors also."

"The contractor was very accomodating and did a good job. There were a couple of small items that needed done like hammering in a forgotten nail and filing the metal around the door latch but other than that I was pleased with the job."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Impact, water infiltration, or shifting subfloors often cause damage. Regular inspections help prevent significant issues.

One major drawback of a concrete tile roof is that the material is heavier than most other roofing materials, so there’s a good chance you’ll need structural reinforcements for your home before you can install the roofing material. Concrete tile roofs are also twice as expensive as asphalt shingle roofs, so even though they last much longer, you’ll see higher up-front costs and lower overall value from concrete roof tiles.

Installing kitchen countertop tiles on a mold and moisture-resistant cement backer board is one of the best options. When fitted correctly on top of a plywood base, it’s stable and long-lasting. Old-fashioned cement board is economical, cuts neatly and easily with a circular or jigsaw, and screws into plywood without any difficulty.

Regardless of the material, basic square tiles will never go out of style. Neutral colors like white, grey, beige, and black will always be in demand in residential and commercial settings. Certain designs, like herringbone and hexagonal patterns, are considered timeless. Porcelain and porcelain-like tiles will also never go out of style.

There are no unbreakable rules of design, but experts recommend against using large tiles in areas with poor subflooring where they’re more prone to cracking, in areas where the floor isn’t entirely level, over raised areas or dips, and in bathrooms where budget is the primary concern. The size of your bathroom shouldn’t be a reason not to use large tiles; in fact, larger tiles, also known as slab tiles, can be a modern and sleek choice for bathroom floors and walls.
