There are just a few of us me and my wife mainly do most of the work ourselves, sometimes I get my daughter, son in laws, or a co worker from another job to help us. We started out cleaning properties and hauling trash for people business got slow and was offered a job doing make ready and remodeling work we didn't have any experience but we gave it a shot and here we are 5 yrs later with knowledge of a little bit of everything plumbing, flooring, cabinets, tile, sheetrock, electrical, and painting, if I don't feel comfortable with the scope of a job I won't do it . We have been working for one private owner now for 5 years and feel it's time to branch out for ourselves again offering all our services to everyone

I always strive to give the best possible work, for the best possible price. I don't work for free, but my work ethic will show why I expect the prices I charge. I always want the customer to feel like they got a good deal for the work they receive. I like to maintain customers and keep them wanting more with quality work. I will not do a halfway job. And will not cut corners. I enjoy working with people to get them exactly what they want and need. I have many skill sets and look forward to putting them to use with you! I have been working with family and friends on odd jobs for a couple years now and just need to branch out. Everything from woodwork to fence staining, mowing, mulching, irrigation tune ups and more.

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.

It depends on the complexity of the job

Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room).

Yes, handymen can offer quick responses to urgent issues like leaks or electrical problems.

Yes, many repair services include blade sharpening as part of the maintenance package.

You can find a reliable handyperson by looking at professionals in your area and ruling out companies with poor reviews online. Next, check each handyperson on the Better Business Bureau to see if they have a history of complaints and rule out those that do. Finally, you can contact each handyperson to ask the following qualifying questions:

  • What is your hourly rate?

  • Are there any jobs you can’t tackle?

  • Are you fully insured?

  • How many years of experience do you have?

  • Do you have references I can contact?
