"Look no further!!!!!!! Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. Scott and his co-workers were very professional and did an outstanding job! I suspected a leak coming from the roof which caused damaged to my bathroom ceiling which my insurance company expected and refused to pay the claim, one of Scott's workers crawled into my attic and found the leak that was overlooked by my insurance company . The replacement of my roof took only 2 days! Everything I asked for was done including covering my pool. Look no further this company is the most affordable. I got 4 other estimates allied was the most affordable and reliable . I will recommend to anyone in need of a roof repair or a new roof , they did what they promised and did it great !!! I gave them 10 stars ??????????"

"Jim Benton of Country Boys Electric came out the day after my call for a bid.  He walked through our shell of a log cabin in the woods, was very thoughtful, made many great suggestions about where to put lights and plugs, described the work they would do and within a few days we has his written bid.  We liked and trusted Jim immediately and they started to work in a few days.  His workers were very professional, arrived on time, worked well with us.  They did all the wiring and then had to wait about a month for the sheetrock and painters to do their work.  We called them back and they were ready to install lights and fans and finish the job.  We were so please with their work.  They were very reliable and on time, even though they had to drive 40 miles from their shop to our place each day.We would highly recommend them to others.

"The furnace took 4 days to get approved( not counting a Sunday) the others were quick but the water heater had to be ordered so without hot water for a week. One ceiling fan was easy but within a year their policy changed and They would not install the one I purchased and had to get a new one approved and then ordered online and took several weeks to get straightened out. Not sure who was at fault, AHS, installer or scheduling with renter. Fee is usually $75 per visit"

I bought a older house as an investment.  To get the property ready to rent, it needed a lot of modernization. That's when I hired H.L.Morris (Buddy) from H.L.Morris Painting and Construction.  I'm so glad I did.  He gave me the best price of all five of my estimates and did an outstanding job. I can't tell you how many people have stopped by to see the home as it was being transformed (all of them couldn't believe the difference).   As a retired military member, I've always tried to the best job possible and I can tell you first hand that Buddy does the same. One of the attributes of Buddy that I like is that he doesn't nickel and dime you for each little thing he does.  Although I hired him to get the walls redone, he routinely assisted me with tasks like enlarging the dine/living room wall divider, replacing termite infested wall beams, and installing new lights and ceiling fans. He did all these tasks at no extra charge (of course I gave him extra).  If you want a true professional with outstanding skills you need look no further than Buddy. I was so impressed with Buddy, I also hired him to install ceramic tile throughout the house.  I plan an writing another review for that. Please note, when you call Buddy, you don't hear the phone ring but he can hear it on his end.

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

There’s no reason why you can’t install a ceiling fan anywhere in your home, such as in living rooms, offices, bedrooms, and dining areas. Most bathrooms already have ventilation and don’t need a ceiling fan. For safety purposes, avoid installing a ceiling fan where the blades will be less than eight feet from the floor, near bunk beds, or anywhere else they may hit nearby objects.

There are many types of ceiling fans, from self-automated smart ceiling fans to outdoor ceiling fans that provide additional comfort to your patio. What you choose all comes down to function and personal taste.

Consider your ceiling height when selecting a ceiling fan. Rooms with ceilings under eight feet high will do well with low-profile ceiling fans, also known as flush-mount or hugger ceiling fans. If your home has cathedral ceilings or ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, you’ll need a large ceiling fan with a heavy-duty motor to get adequate air circulation.

Ceiling fans require periodic cleaning of blades to avoid dust accumulation, checking screws and connections for firmness, and occasional lubrication for components, keeping the fan running smoothly and quietly over time.

Most ceiling fans have a lifespan of anywhere from five to 15 years or 10 years on average. Just how long your ceiling fan lasts depends on the quality of the parts, how much it’s used, and how well you maintain it. A fan with a weak motor that runs on the medium setting nonstop is likely to have a shorter lifespan compared to a fan with a powerful motor that runs on the slowest setting for air circulation.

To determine if your ceiling box can support a fan, you must check if it is specifically fan-rated. Manufacturers are required to indicate this on the box itself. You may need to remove the existing light fixture to look inside the ceiling box for an inscription stating it is rated for fan use. If you do not see this confirmation, the box is likely not strong enough and must be replaced with a fan-rated junction box. For a proper and safe installation, you should also use a fan brace to secure the new box between the ceiling joists, which provides the necessary support for the fan's weight and motion.
