"Right before my warranty expired the bathtub I had refinished started peeling on the area in front of the tub. When I called to get it fixed the office that did the original job was redistricted and would not service me so there was some back and forth with the new location in my service area taking responsibility for the repair. They finally agreed to do the repair but never completed it. The area they fixed was patched but never repainted to match the rest of the tub so it now looks white in some area's but a dingy gray on the patched area and now my warranty has expired."

Clogs that result from water-soluble materials like toilet paper or human waste may eventually break down in the water and allow the water and waste to flow freely once again. A more likely scenario is that you’ll have to learn how to unclog a toilet or call a plumber.
Bleach is generally not recommended for your shower drains. Although diluted bleach can technically help clean your drain, it will not unclog your pipes. You should inspect and clean a French drain at least once per year. However, if the drain accumulates a lot of debris and sediment, it may require more frequent cleaning. If you notice reduced drainage or any signs that it is clogged, it should be cleaned as soon as possible.
It’s possible to snake minor drain clogs yourself, provided they sit within a foot or two of the drain itself, but it’s usually best to hire a professional plumber regardless. Even experienced DIYers have a high chance of accidentally pushing the clog further into the drain using a drain snake or another tool, so hiring a plumber is the ideal course of action.
