"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. "I provided them with the exact template I wanted for the Kitchen island (they cut it exactly to the template I provided).  All other counter-tops were cut as specified.  The installers overlooked an "out of plane" area near the sink (an area that needed better leveling).  The stone showed a crack in the weak corner (front left) of the sink, the crew alerted me of this (good practice).  The next day, I called Lowe's, who called the contractor to meet at the house.  After inspection, they agreed the slab had to be replaced (it was the largest piece of the installation, measuring about 10 feet.  Luckily they had one slab left of the same family; On the new installation, they ensured to level the area to prevent another crack.
The reason for my grading them A is because these type of "after-the-fact" installations are hard to do and, decisions fall on the criteria of the installing crew.  However, when the company stands behind their installers (they pay for the installer training and criteria), and the end result is of good quality, other than the time and mess aggravation, I got what I paid for in the end.   It is September 2014, as of this review the stones are doing their job, my wife is still happy, and we have no problems with the installation.
