"Rudy was prompt, professional and did an outstanding job. I needed an exterior wood frame around a window at my house and his finished frame is beautiful. He also went above and beyond, fixing a fence gate that wasn't latching properly. I was delighted with both his small jobs and happy to pay very reasonable rates for them. I will definitely hire them again and highly recommend them."

Of course, we want your new outdoor space to look amazing and seamlessly blend with the style and design of your home. But we also want to make sure it is safe, secure, and lasts for many years. To ensure that’s the case, we need to pay attention to the details. Our contractors use a clear Job Process Methodology that ensures the structure is built well, and we have established national relationships with preferred material vendors, including AZEK and Timbertech.\nAs for the team that will be creating your captivating outdoor space? "Any time I need work done or refer a friend, I contact Helt. They’re professional, on time, so the project right, and stick to what they say. If there’s a mess up (which is rare), they fix it and they stand by their word."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.
