"We contracted on 10/22/19 with Champion to have all the windows replaced in our home. It was nothing but errors after that point. Our salesman did not count our windows correctly (was off by two) and that had to be corrected before he got out the door. He also told us the windows would be installed by Thanksgiving. The next person to come to our house was a week later than expected. We then discovered that our salesman did not write in the correct column on the bid so grids had not been included. After getting that worked out we were told our windows were ordered but would not be installed until mid December. On 11/27 got a call from yet another person saying that **corporate** had kicked our contract back because the profit margins were too thin so Champion was backing out of our deal. We had a signed contract (which obviously meant nothing to them) and they had our 25% deposit since 10/21. Was told there was no recourse. We were treated badly through the whole process. I would caution anyone who is thinking of doing business with them that they cannot be trusted to stand by their signed contract and have little regard for the inconveniences they put homeowners through. Do not do business with this company."

"Mark and his team turn out a great product. My wife and I wanted to have a covered porch built onto the back of our house. We interviewed a few and it initially came down to price and I could have not made a better choice. Mark made regular communication on different aspects of the project and helped with some minor suggestions. We knew what was happening and what was the next step throughout the project. This is in stark contrast to the other ( all A rated ) providers we called, many of whom either never bothered to return our initial call or send us the promised quote after reviewing the job. "In my opinion, this has been one of the worst experiences with ever dealing with a contractor. The first installers that showed up not only broke glass from windows several times but also smoked cigarettes while my windows were out. One also ended up being so careless that glass and cut his leg ended in an ER visit. At that time, I had a window in my upstairs that was exposed to the outside elements. When speaking with customer service and also the manager of the installers they could not give me a time when they could get another installer out and stated that it could be several days before people are finished with other jobs before they could get to mine. They covered my window with thin plastic and spray foam. I thought I was being reasonable by asking them just to come and install the one window and that the job did not have to be finished that day or over the weekend. When speaking with her, the customer service manager stated that they did not know if they could accommodate having someone come off another job to install one window that exposed my house to the elements and also didn't know when they could get someone else to come to finish. This was hours after the incident. After that, the service manager told me he would call me by the end of the day to let me know if he could have an installer come over the next day but wasn't 100% sure and stated that it could be next week. At this time, I told them this was unacceptable and that I needed someone to at least come and fix the one window either today or tomorrow. By them not being able to give me a timeline my tenant had to cancel his out-of-town travels as he did not feel safe leaving his belongings exposed. The following day I got a call stating that a crew was on their way, which made me happy. But the installer that came was by himself, and even though he did a great job, my tenant living at my property had to help him carry the windows up the stairs, and also had to use my ladder to help him off the roof. When speaking with customer service, I told them that this was unacceptable that tenant and had to help with the job. They went on to only make excuses in a rude manner and told me that he probably chose to do that in, which he did because over the weekend, we had various storms coming, so he did not want to be in the same situation as before and had the elements outside damage the inside of my property. When seeking compensation, they told me that "life happens" and they could not give any discounts for the job. In my opinion, this company does not stand for the five-star customer service they portrayed. With every phone call I was met with a questioning tone, as well as being very defensive when requesting that my exposed window be installed within the next two days."

"We began the building process of our new home in December of 2015 and move in in July 2016. I decided to not post negative reviews at the time because I had been so distraught during the process I just wanted to forget about the whole process and move on but today is the day to leave the review. The entire home building process was a nightmare from the beginning to end. The first issue was with basement door framed out to the wrong size, installed and charged for retaining walls without any communication to us after we specifically stated we did not want retaining walls. We had several windows and doors not centered properly. They installed the wrong tile in guest bathroom. And these were just a few of the issues we had during the build. I guess the one main issue was with the owner of the company and the way we were treated. We were told to not go to the home everyday and look for mistakes and any mistakes would be taken care at the end of the process. He locked us out of our own home and would not let us in to see what was going on until he received his final payment. He wanted the final payment before the house was completed. It was an issue everyday of something being done wrong or him treating us terrible. We did not have one change order in the home but he kept telling us that he had $30,000 of his own money in this home. Now I am posting this today, 6 years later because we decided to have the metal replaced on all our door frames due to the metal work being so bad. After removing the metal wrapping we found all the garage doors and man doors to be rotting and all the door frames are going to have to be replaced after only 6 years. Please beware!!!!!"
