"I recently asked for some estimates for painting our entire home exterior, having our three sets of stairs rebuilt, fixing several of our windows, and repairing several door jams. After reviewing the estimates in detail, I decided to go with Shane Franich of GreenFrog LLC. He was always prompt and courteous, and answered all my calls and messages on a timely basis. His estimate was very reasonable for the work being provided, and along with Marco of Prime Construction, did an excellent job on the painting and repair of our home. I would definitely use them again for any future projects!"

"I live in an antebellum house, built in 1837. Over the past 175 years some of the bricks underneath the fireplace in the living room and gathering room had crumbled. The floor needed repairs and leveling. I contacted 4 companies to evaluate the problem and develop a solution. Luke Griffin, with Mr. Foundation, was the only person who actually went under the house and took pictures of the problem for us to see. We were able to see what was happening at the fireplaces. He then studied the problem and the next day offered us a solution. They came and installed steel beams with stainless steel jacks, leveled the floors and resolved the problem. I tell people an elephant now could jump up and down on the floors. Would I recommend Mr. Foundation?? 100%!!! And, FYI, their price was considerably less than two of the other companies."

"We love Restoration 1 of Chattanooga! We had water damage under our sink, and Restoration 1 of Chattanooga saved the day after a competitor quoted us an outrageous amount. Jonah was very professional, and got the job done right. He removed all of the hazardous materials, handled the mold appropriately, and reconstructed the bottom of our sink. Rather than just throwing down some cheap particle board, Jonah used quality wood. In addition, he built us a sturdy frame underneath in order to properly support the weight of all our cleaning products we keep down there. After my experience, I won't be calling any competitors ever again. Restoration 1 is the best out there."

"Lesson learned. Always get an estimate. BEFORE the work is done. At least a digital copy. Arrangements for the project were made, with some one named Lynn, for the company to send someone to complete the work. We were quoted over the phone 4500-5000 which included a mold test. A sub contractor with an entirely different company (National Mold Company) was sent. When the contractor arrived, he stated that the job would be much more simpler than first thought. This led us to believe that the job would cost less, no. All said and done, they charged $5500. All said and done, it's almost like no work was done. The stains and the smell are still there. Only one actual board was taken upon the attic room. The ceiling in the bedroom was primed and painted but are still visible and have a funky smell. At this point I'm going to. Do what we should have done; Do the job ourselves. Just now with $5500 less dollars in our pockets. A detailed receipt was not given even though it was requested."

"Unprofessional and obtuse. I hired Langley Roofing to do the roof on my detached garage. They made a mistake, which they admitted, but unfortunately their attempts to fix it only made things worse. The only right way to fix it was to do it over, which obviously they didn't want to do. They wouldn't even agree to a discount. I'm sure they'll reply to this saying their fix was sufficient, but it wasn't. They know it wasn't; they just don't want to admit it because it would cost them. Langley has been a nightmare. Go with anyone else and save yourself some headache."

"In the end, not well. We needed a leaking gutter seam fixed at our vacation house because it was dripping on our deck and ruining our stain. Higher Ground came out and made a repair in June 2022, which supposedly fixed the leak. We then arranged to have our deck restained. Since this is a vacation house, we weren't able to go back to the house until August 2022. At that point we discovered that the seam was still leaking onto our newly restained deck. We contacted Higher Ground via email and phone to try to get them to come out and finish the fix. They were not very responsive and got a little nasty about only allowing 10 days for "quality control issues" on their work, even after I explained that we are not down at the house full time to be able to see that it wasn't really fixed. So they refused to make good on their work. From my perspective, I paid for a leak repair and did not get a leak repair."

"My kitchen floor was severely warped and had 30+ years of layered board and vinyl. Brandon and Scott from Turn to Us showed up on time and began working immediately, They repaired and replaced the floor in less that 2 days and it is gorgeous! I could not have been more pleased with the timing, their attitudes and craftsmanship. I will definitely be using them again."

"John was a pleasure to work with regards to material selection, sending a quote, and explaining the product, installation, warranty, etc. The price was beyond reasonable and the installers showed up on time, were courteous, efficient, etc. They worked quickly, without sacrificing quality, and finished a large space in one day. "I was extremely misled by this company who did not provide the service at the cost they communicated. I never received a print copy of the quote, and the quote that was said out loud (and confirmed) was THOUSANDS less than the bill I received. (I even confirmed the number out loud and commented on how low the cost was, and the owner did not correct me to state the number I received on my bill.) Furthermore, had the owner (who gave the quote and then never followed up until he wanted payment -- also leaving me to ask the contract worker what was even going on or whom I paid and when and how in the midst of hazardous and unsafe living conditions due to disease risk -- clarified the price point when I REPEATED THE NUMBER OUT LOUD TO HIM AND COMMENTED THAT IT SEEMED LOW) been direct, honest, and forthright with me, my insurance would have stepped in to cover it. Don't trust them to communicate with you. Get another quote. Do more price shopping since they're willing to admit they messed up but aren't willing to do anything about it. Also, even if you don't think the number will meet your home insurance deductible amount, consult with them anyway. Now I'm retroactively trying to get insurance to help out, and they have many questions about the way the Ductz service was conducted AND concerns about the way it was documented."
