Walls Come Alive

It went extremely well! Fantastic job, could not see the scenes and will definitely hire again.

Professional and prepared for painting walls that need some repairs. Two painters arrived at 9 am and left around 5 p.m. They painted my kitchen applying 2 coats and ceiling and moldings including crown moldings. They did a fantastic job and I will use again.

Arrived on time and ready to work. Covered furniture moved it to center of room. Walls had vinyl stickers that peeled the paint off. The walls needed extensive repair. I highly recommend Walls Come Alive. The paint job was professionally done, no paint where it did not belong, they cleaned up, and fixed the walls that you can not see any imperfections. I would hire again and plan to in the near future.

Sylvia was great. She came to my house to give me a quote on Monday and the work was started and completed on Thursday.

Overall, the paint in the kitchen area is satisfactory, but work completed in the guest bathroom is not a professional look. I was disappointed to come home and find the hardwood floors in the kitchen had been damaged. (I was not contacted.) I reached out to Sylvia and was then told I had a "bad wheel on my refrigerator." (When furniture was moved there was nothing placed underneath event though these "professionals" were working on hardwood floors. The next day the floor was damaged more; yet I was told they were not responsible. Sylvia did send her kind son-in-law and son (non licensed professionals) to repair the floor a week later, and charged. As they finished, they made large streaks in the floor (more damage). I will find someone else to repair the floor (again).

Sylvia came out and looked at the work we needed done, quoted us a price we felt was good so we hired her. We never claimed to be in a hurry for this project but I feel she tried to 'work us in' between some other jobs because she thought it was going to be a quick job. Being an older home, it was a little more work than she expected although she had seen the house and I believe she underestimated and underquoted the job, making her feel rushed to do it and not happy with what she quoted. They were in too big a hurry, the work was sloppy and we had to have them come back and fix many spots. I felt the work was sloppy personally. I had to scrub paint drippings off fixtures, brand new vanity tops, washing machine, toilets etc. as if nothing was covered properly. I still am finding paint on the trim.. places that weren't covered properly etc. Also two of the 11 doors they were to paint never got a second coat. I was completely disappointed given the reviews I read.

They did an excellent job matching the crown molding and repairing the water damaged ceiling. This is the second time I hired this company. The other was to paint basement walls.

Sylvia and her crew did an A class job with 30 yrs. experience.

Sylvia was very easy to work with.  Job started off small and we kept adding items yet work got done within time frame we had to get it done.  Did a great job painting my house.  Very happy with the work done.  Only issue was in caulking outside windows for new white trim that was installed.  While the trim was sealed with a white silicon caulk to both the house and to the windows the nail heads were not covered so they show clearly against the white trim. Will likely caulk over these myself when time allows.
