"5 Star, replaced, designed, and re-built my wood deck.  My wood deck was about 11 years old on the back of my house.  It was in terrible shape, the original builder used a nail gun to put the deck together.  Over the years the nails had rusted and been tapped backed in many times.  The point I am trying to make here is you should NEVER use nails to build an outdoor deck or fence.  5 Star uses coated premium wood screws in the construction of the deck.  Not one single nail in the entire project!!! AWESOME!!  I got a couple of estimates when I began the home improvements, 5 Star was very much in line with the other estimates.  Here is why they are a much BETTER VALUE, instead of using 4 by 4's for the support beams and railing they used 6 by 6's.  They used 2 by 6's for the stairs instead of decking wood.  All of the wood cuts were done using a table or miter saw.  All of the joints meet perfectly and are square, this makes for an incredible sturdy deck.  They really built this deck like a piece of fine furniture.  Two of my neighbors after coming over for a closer look have hired Jeremy and 5 Star to do their decks.  The bottom line is these guys are OUTSTANDING and will be doing all of my construction, painting and home improvements in the future they are currently painting my entire home.  Its is so great to have a company that I (and you) can completely trust to do what you hire them to do and do it right.
