"Mr. Rick and his guys did an awesome job!  We have 3 children and not to mention 3 boys, so our carpets had seen better days. We decided it was time to get them cleaned. Mr. Rick got our carpets looking awesome. Now it will give the boys a chance to mess them back up again im sure, but we will be using this company agian in the future, and will tell all of our friends about what a great job you guys have done. Thanks agian for doing such a great job and not over charging us on the budget we try to stay on.

"Punctual.  Arrived on time and surveyed work to be done.  Asked appropriate questions about scope of work.  Promptly provided a quote for work.  Reasonable prices.  Good follow up.  We had an unexpected expense come up and decided to postpone the project, so did not hire the provider."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

A 65-oz. carpet is good, and in many cases, it indicates a premium carpet. Most carpets for homes should fall in the range of 40 to 60 ounces for face weight. If a carpet has a 65-oz. face weight, it is likely more durable and long-lasting than a similar carpet with a lower face weight. Carpet face weight is just one factor in determining a carpet’s quality.

In most cases, carpeting isn’t kind to the wood that it’s attached to. Most carpet installation uses adhesive or nailing strips, both of which will damage wood. Conversely, you can choose to use an adhesive designed to be removed from wood, in which case carpeting can actually protect your hardwood stairs.

It is normal to glue carpet down, though it’s not the only or the most popular method of installing carpet. Modern techniques include tack strips and stretching the carpet, but you might still find glued carpet in older homes or a home with a DIY’d past. Removing a glued-down carpet will be harder compared to other methods of installation.

Carpet installation typically starts with removing the old flooring, preparing the subfloor, laying underpadding for cushioning, and securing the new carpet with tack strips, making precise cuts to fit room dimensions.

Yes, you can put carpet directly on concrete. However, you need to take certain precautions to ensure the success of the carpet installation. For example, you’ll need to choose a synthetic carpet pad to provide insulation and cushioning and a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping into the carpet.
