I have been very happy with carpet purchased for the living room. After purchasing laminate flooring I was told that the laminate was on back order for a month so I picked out a different laminate. I have been unhappy with the laminate. After having it professional installed by a carpenter the laminate started showing "bubbles" in the finish. It is continuing to show damge every time the floor is cleaned, with a damp cloth. An employee of Stan's and an employee from the manufacture came to evaluate the damage and very conveniently came up with the conclusion that it is the fault of the carpenter so they would not stand behind their "lifetime warranty". The carpenter could not find any evidence to their claim that it was his error. I also had a second opinion, from another carpenter, and he could not find any evidence of an installment error. I would not recommend purchasing any products from Stan's carpet because they do not stand behind their products. I feel that I spent a fair amount of money on flooring that needs replacing soon.
