"Timothy came out to my house for a duct cleaning. I was surprised that mold was the culprit to my musty smelling house that I just purchased. Hard work and pride in what you do is extremely rare this day and age. I noticed those qualities as he worked on my house. He explained everything in great detail, took pride in his work and even recommended how to keep mold out of my house. He did an outstanding job for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Timothy to anyone needing duct a cleaning service. Thank you Timothy! As a fellow Veteran I appreciate your honesty and Hard work!"

"Will I was looking for a company to clean my home I I reached to several companies, but none of them were answering that?s when I called this company and she told me that she could clean my home. They came and did such a wonderful job that I saw a big transformation in my home. They literally took their time to detail everything. The floors, the wood cabinets, the kitchen, the areas that were really greasy. Everything looked like it was brand new. I love that they have a good communication with their clients and they are really hard-working people and I would really recommend this company."

I provide reliable turnovers in residential and business cleans. I am consistent, maintain my own equipment and products. I have been cleaning for close to a year and have references with homeowners and commercial properties. I understand cleaning is not about making the space look good, but creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for my clients. I show up on time, communicate regularly, and treat my clients' space with care and respect.

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.

It is not advisable to DIY a roof cleaning job. Cleaning your roof yourself could lead to hazardous falls, scrapes, and even burns, making this a dangerous project. Additionally, using the wrong cleaning solution or cleaning method on your roof could risk damaging it. While some markets offer a DIY roof cleaning kit, these products often speed up the deterioration of your roof.

To ensure that you and your roof are protected, it’s best to leave roof cleaning to a professional with the right chemicals, tools, and equipment to complete the job safely.

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only remove them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a safety risk to people below. Attempting to remove icicles yourself can be dangerous, so if you are concerned about immediate damage, it is recommended to hire a professional. To prevent icicles from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, which is often poor insulation. Long-term solutions include improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.

No, you should not use a pressure washer or power washer on roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure is too strong and can damage the shingles by loosening their adhesive, forcing water underneath them, or causing them to fall off. The safer and better option is soft washing with a pump sprayer. For best results and to avoid damage, consider hiring a local roof cleaner to clean your shingles safely.
