With locations nationwide, Hawx Pest Control is proud to provide top-of-the-line pest control to our customers. Offering both home pest control and commercial pest control services, we placed our core values right in our name so that we’ll never forget what drives us. Hawx stands for: Honesty Attitude Work Ethic Excitement

"Their technicians were more than adequate. The unresolved issue is regarding completion of 1year contract and cancellation of contract. After cancellation was done the company billed for the 13th month even after cancellation and without service being provided. All calls go to Ogden Utah to people who insist no one in company is authorised to waive fees and that their supervisor does not accept calls. I feel sorry for local field workers to lose business but that is their model"

"Wow! Bigfoot did an excellent job of getting rid of the many squirrels in our attic. They set up a treatment plan with us (and our tenant) and they followed it precisely. Their prices are reasonable and they themselves are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. Cory (our technician) was just great."

Dryer Vent Wizard of"Southern Tennessee"specializes in dryer fire prevention and energy savings through vent cleaning, inspection, repair, replacement, alterations, and maintenance for single and multi-family residences and commercial entities. We also offer discount cleaning rates for all customers through a "Vent Cleaning Maintenance . Program" Dryer Vents "Than's All We Do"

"I notice most of the reviews are old and about Tommy; he was not the tech. Pros: They were available days before others and who wants to be stuck with dirty laundry? In the end, they charged the trip charge instead of also trying to charge for some time when the job wasn't done (like a certain Company which we no longer use). Cons: The tech started into the upsale immediately, suggesting to almost double what we expected to pay and wasn't too happy when we declined (another reason we stopped using the Company that turned their techs into sales people). He had been there about 1 1/2 hours when he discovered we had a vinyl vent which can't be safely cleaned because it may tear or break. Time was wasted to learn the vent needs to be replaced. Also, he didn't pay attention when I pointed out which 2nd story cover was for the dryer because we found the one for the bathroom on the ground later, which is there to keep birds out."

Mosquito Joe is your solution to make outside fun again. We provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, repelling and killing outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, ticks and fleas. Our technicians are trained mosquito control experts who can come to your house to apply barrier spray solutions that keep your yard mosquito-free. We also provide services for special events to keep your guests chatting and laughing instead of scratching and slapping. The best part: our services are backed by a satisfaction guarantee.

"They come out on the regular life cycle of mosquito, spray all bushes and shrubs, put mosquito dunks in standing water. They text before they come and are always on time! Worth the money. Paying for the season in advance gets a discount! No problem with bees or birds affected."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Certain smells do repel bats, though this isn’t a foolproof method. Try applying essential oil sprays like mint, eucalyptus, cinnamon, or peppermint to possible entry points and throughout the attic. Mix together two cups of warm water with a half cup of sugar and a few drops of your preferred essential oil. Put this mixture in a spray bottle and go to town.

No, mothballs do not keep bats away. Not only are mothballs completely ineffective when repelling or removing bats, but using them could be illegal, depending on where you live. Remember, bats are federally protected, and it's illegal to use chemicals during the removal process, and mothballs tend to fall into this category.

Legal considerations include adherence to local and federal wildlife protection laws, particularly for species that might be protected or endangered.

Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return. Additional methods include using repellants designed to make an area unappealing to the types of animals that find your home so inviting.

The brown recluse has numerous predators in the wild (or close to your home). They are a valuable part of the ecosystem, too. Their predators often include birds, praying mantis, crickets, chickens, spider wasps, and more. However, the brown recluse spider is a master at hiding, making it much more difficult for predators to hunt them.
