In summary, we put forth a lot of extra work to assist Mr [Member Name Removed] while he was trying to get a fence from another state. We expended a tremendous amount of resources in order to help with things that needed to be done locally. After his initial house deal fell thru, we were copied on a message where he was entertaining the notion of using other fence companies. As we had already expended the time of 7-9 typical fences to help him with one fence, we made the decision to not "go down that road" again. We have no problem with getting competitive bids as it makes us look even better, but we had experience with what this particular customer's time requirements and decided it would not be a efficient use of our resources to pursue this fence. Just as he has the right to choose another fence company as a provider, we have the right to not choose him as a customer. As for the comment that he would not use us again, he filed a claim against us with the BBB in an attempt to force us to work with him, but the BBB understood our side of the story.Service Provider Response
I am very surprised to receive this feedback. If one looks at our trend of other reviews, it is quite the opposite in that we make the fence purchase an easy experience for everyone else. We have an established protocol which dictates that we will not schedule anyone without a down payment and we will not start installation without specifically marking the fence location with the homeowner. In this instance, the customer accepted our proposal while she was on vacation and wanted it completed or at least started before she returned. I explained our policy, which did not make her very happy, but I thought she understood at the time. I would ask that everyone looks at the "body of all of our reviews" instead of the individual ones to evaluate our company because this perspective in not representative of who we are.Commercial fencing or anything non-traditional.
