I made the call Sat morning. He called back within an hr. Was at my house by noon that day (ok, I'm surprised). He tells me it's a one day job, that he could do it tomorrow, and would have a bid to me by 4 pm that day. Really?
I had the bid of $750 by 3pm, he had attached several pics of work he'd done of stucco repair (liked that), and again, said he could do it Sunday.
BTW, I had called 2 other contractors - one refused because he said he was too far away (I had a 10 mile range on my search), the other (as of today) has never returned my call.
No surprise, I went with Patchwork's as quickly as possible. And it was a great choice. He showed up about 9 am, worked until maybe 3 pm. He had a last coat on the stucco and said that he wanted it to set up more before he applied, that he could come by after I got off work the next day for the last 45 min to finish. That was fine by me. I sent him a text when I got home from work on Monday. He was here in 30 min, finished my stucco & then got paid. Ashton was easy to work with, did a great job. He prepped well to not splatter stucco or plaster on window frames or other parts of the house, he cleaned up well. When I paid him I asked for extra business cards for a couple friends. I would refer him without hesitation & I will use him again.
Removed eight stumps and hauled them away. Took extra time to clean up and backfill holes. Carter was great to work with on scheduling the project. He showed up when he said he would and make quick work of a large project at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend!
We could not be more pleased! Ironclad install new siding, window, and a steel roof. A complete transformation. It’s like a new home. Thank you so much!
I paid in full, up front for my roof to be completed by a professional. It took more than two months for this to be completed, during which time I was made to expend my time and energy trying to get the situation resolved. I was given excuse after excuse for why the job wasn't completed...
Beyond my expectations without a doubt. Prompt courteous, professional highly trained. From the smallest job to cleaning my 65 room hotel. On a scale of 1-10, NuTech gets an 11.
Buffy returned my call and scheduled service, and also confirmed it via text and again the day before. Blaine and Mason showed up on time and got right to work. They were polite, cheerful, VERY professional, showed excellent attention to detail, and did a thorough, high-quality job. I am...

Even though you don’t look at your roof often, there are some telltale signs that you should have your roof professionally cleaned. It’s best to hire a professional roof cleaner as soon as you notice signs of wear and tear to preserve the essential feature’s longevity. Some indicators to look out for include:
Dirt and grime buildup
Moss or black algae growth
Dirt buildup under shingles
Shifting roof shingles
Plant growth
On average, cleaning a roof will take between two to five hours. This timeline depends on the size and slope of your roof and the severity of any stains. Cleaning roof stains can take additional time, especially if there are signs of moss or algae.
In addition, the age of your roof makes an enormous difference in the time it takes to clean it, as older roofs need more gentle care. If you have significant landscaping in your yard by your house, your professional roof cleaner will need additional time to protect it from cleaning chemicals.
The cost of roof cleaning is $455 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range from $150 to $1,000, depending on the size, pitch, and material of the roof, as well as the cleaning method used.
Since roof cleaning costs between $0.20 and $0.60 per square foot, it’s fair to say that the larger your roof, the more you pay for cleaning services. Additionally, if you have a steep roof, you can expect to pay an additional $0.15 per square foot due to the complex nature of the job and additional safety equipment needed.
A professional roof cleaning lasts about a year on average, so it’s best to do it annually. This schedule helps catch any roof problems before they become extensive and helps prevent mold, moss, and algae from forming. If you live near the coast, annual roof cleaning will help prevent salt buildup on your roof. You can add professional roof cleaning to your yearly home maintenance checklist to ensure you never miss a year.
It is not advisable to DIY a roof cleaning job. Cleaning your roof yourself could lead to hazardous falls, scrapes, and even burns, making this a dangerous project. Additionally, using the wrong cleaning solution or cleaning method on your roof could risk damaging it. While some markets offer a DIY roof cleaning kit, these products often speed up the deterioration of your roof.
To ensure that you and your roof are protected, it’s best to leave roof cleaning to a professional with the right chemicals, tools, and equipment to complete the job safely.
