"Most of what we do is full tear-out and replacement. We remove the old cracked, settling, or spalling concrete, rebuild the base the right way, and pour new. We also handle driveway extensions and widening, aprons and curb cuts, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair.\n\nOur crews have poured more than 38,000 residential concrete projects. Every job gets a dedicated project coordinator, up-front pricing with no surprise change orders, and a final walkthrough before we call it finished. Licensed and insured.\n\nNeed a new driveway? "Venture did a fantastic job on our concrete driveway. The quality of work was great and they were very professional. The project superintendent kept me informed on when they would be arriving and what they would be doing. The workers were also very nice and cleaned up after the job is finished. I highly recommend this company and would use them again on future projects."

Customers say: Quality work

"It went fine. He responded promptly and did a good job. Then I paid, and I never saw him again--and he still needed to clean up and finish, taking apart the brackets around the area where the concrete was poured, cleaning up the roots they'd chopped up, and so on. When I called about it, he said he'd be over, but when the time came, he said was in the area, but couldn't find my house. After calling back and forth, he said he still couldn't find it, (keep in mind they'd been here several times already doing the job) and said he'd get back to me, and he didn't. I texted him a map, photos of the house, the street sign nearby, but nothing for almost a week. Then I got another call saying they'd be over "today or tomorrow," and that was a week ago and the last I've heard."

"Allen and his team were very impressive. Honest, polite and hard workers. Showed up when he said they would and completed the job sooner than I expected. Cleaned the job site as if they had never been there. Put in two walkways and two small concrete pads. Fair price and honest work, I do not know how a company can be any better than that. I recommend to give Allen a chance to bid your job. I would definitely hire him again."

"We were impressed with the time line and quality of work. The cleanup was another thing but that seems to be a constant thing. At 73 it is hard for me to do much. He left his frames and concrete residue on the grass wich has to be raked up. It isn't a big deal but for me it is another project. Mr. Milligan was very personable and courteous. I would hire him again but would pay closer attention to the cleanup."

"We had a great experience used Rembrey Construction to pour our concrete driveway and sidewalk, as well as chipping up and removing an old concrete sidewalk. Communication was professional, timely and transparent. The crew at my home was also respectful, professional and the end product looks great!"

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Yes, acid washing can change the appearance of the original brick stain color. It removes dirt, and efflorescence, often revealing the brick's original color and restoring its natural beauty. However, if not done carefully, it can also cause slight variations in color due to the cleaning process.

Upkeep for stamped concrete driveways only includes regular rinsing, sweeping, and an annual power wash. During the winter, stamped concrete is very durable in snow and ice, but it's best to avoid the overuse of rock salt for its long-term stability. Additionally, address cracks and potholes as soon as they appear to keep them from growing.

Whether you need to winterize your pressure washer depends on where you store it. If you can keep it in a relatively warm place with no risk of freezing, you won't need to add antifreeze. However, if the machine will be stored in freezing temperatures, any liquid left in the water pump can freeze, expand, and cause severe damage. To prevent this, add antifreeze to keep it in good condition. While some suggest emptying the machine with compressed air, this can be a tedious process that may not fully drain the liquid. Regardless of storage conditions, it is also good practice to empty the gas chamber and refresh the oil before winter storage.

Deciding whether to buy or rent a pressure washer depends on your budget and how often you plan to use it.

  • Renting: The daily rental cost typically ranges from $40 to $175. Renting can be more cost-effective for a one-time project.

  • Buying: The purchase price for a pressure washer can range from $100 to over $1,000. More specifically, electric models generally cost between $100 and $400, while gas models run from $300 to $600.

If you anticipate using a pressure washer multiple times a year, buying one is often a better long-term investment. When purchasing, remember that a higher-quality machine will likely deliver better and more reliable results.

Yes. You can pressure wash pavers. However, you risk damaging them if you use too much pressure or get too close. Use a PSI of 1,500 and spray the water at least 24 inches away from the surface.
