Most of what we do is full tear-out and replacement. We remove the old cracked, settling, or spalling concrete, rebuild the base the right way, and pour new. We also handle driveway extensions and widening, aprons and curb cuts, stamped and decorative concrete, and concrete repair.\n\nOur crews have poured more than 38,000 residential concrete projects. Every job gets a dedicated project coordinator, up-front pricing with no surprise change orders, and a final walkthrough before we call it finished. Licensed and insured.\n\nNeed a new driveway? "Venture did a fantastic job on our concrete driveway. The quality of work was great and they were very professional. The project superintendent kept me informed on when they would be arriving and what they would be doing. The workers were also very nice and cleaned up after the job is finished. I highly recommend this company and would use them again on future projects."

Customers say: True professional

"This company is very professional.  They kept in touch with me regarding the scheduling. Very honest, they did not cash the deposit until they were ready to start the work.  They rebuilt our driveway brick monuments and they look wonderful. I am going to try to have them build a backyard patio for  me as well."

Customers say: Quality work

"It went fine. He responded promptly and did a good job. Then I paid, and I never saw him again--and he still needed to clean up and finish, taking apart the brackets around the area where the concrete was poured, cleaning up the roots they'd chopped up, and so on. When I called about it, he said he'd be over, but when the time came, he said was in the area, but couldn't find my house. After calling back and forth, he said he still couldn't find it, (keep in mind they'd been here several times already doing the job) and said he'd get back to me, and he didn't. I texted him a map, photos of the house, the street sign nearby, but nothing for almost a week. Then I got another call saying they'd be over "today or tomorrow," and that was a week ago and the last I've heard."

"PCM CONSTRUCTION LLC. Exceptional work and design options with a fair price! My project was $3500 less than Palmetto Landscaping and Designs, LLC in Summerville quoted me. Israel, the owner, was timely in all communications and completed my entire patio paver project in 2 days. Highly recommend!"

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

One of the most important factors to consider when buying a pressure washer is not just psi but also the machine’s overall cleaning power. This is based on both the psi and the GPM. Look for a cleaning rating, or effective cleaning unit (ECU), of up to 8,000 for most residential cleaning projects that require a pressure washer.

Yes, you can use a mixture of 1 tablespoon of bleach and a gallon of warm water to clean stubborn stains from brick. Do not use bleach without diluting it in water. Undiluted bleach may cause discoloration. You can use either Oxygen bleach such as OxiClean or chlorine bleach. Always wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling bleach.

Yes, baking soda and vinegar can remove rust from concrete. Vinegar is acidic and can remove rust stains from concrete on its own. Adding baking soda may increase abrasiveness, which could help loosen some of the stain even more when scrubbing the stain. However, a stiff-bristled brush can do the same.

The ideal PSI (pounds per square inch) for a pressure washer depends on the surface you are cleaning. For general home use, a pressure washer with a range of 2,000 to 3,000 PSI is recommended and powerful enough for most residential projects.

The specific PSI you should use varies by task:

  • High-Pressure Tasks (2,500-3,000 PSI): Tough materials like concrete, stone, masonry, and brick can handle higher pressures. This is suitable for removing stubborn stains from driveways or cleaning graffiti.

  • Low-Pressure Tasks (around 600-1,300 PSI): Softer surfaces require a gentler touch to avoid damage. Use a low PSI setting for cleaning wood decks (especially softwoods like pine and cedar), vinyl siding, outdoor furniture, and stucco.

For best results, choose the right nozzle for your surface, such as a 15-degree nozzle for siding or a surface cleaner attachment for driveways. Using an extendable wand can also make the work easier and more ergonomic.

To extend the lifespan of an asphalt surface, sealcoat it every 2-3 years, repair cracks promptly, and clean it regularly to remove debris.
