"Wow. The crew was on time (!) and worked hard each day, taking a mere 30 minutes for lunch and returning to the job at hand. They meticulously cleaned up after themselves. These guys know what they're doing and paid attention to detail. They did an awesome job, at a very fair price. Our kitchen looks stunning. We wholeheartedly recommend Rocco Custom Remodeling."

"My wife on hospice now can easily step into an excellent show stall instead of the old tub and shower combo. The new unit is easier to clean and offers no places that I can see where mold is likely to grow. Cleaning used to be a major chore, just keeping mold in check."

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. I was pleased he resolved my clogged sink so quickly so I could rest after a night's work. Thank you again, Joe."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The cost varies from $150 to $600, depending on the severity of the clog, pipe access, and required equipment.

Bleach isn’t likely to help unclog a sewer line. Bleach isn’t useful in this situation because it won’t dissolve the grime and debris in the clog. Instead, you want to use ingredients that will have a chemical reaction to clear out the buildup, like vinegar or salt and baking soda.

No. You should dispose of all oil-based finishing products through a local hazardous waste program. Not only can oil-based finishes be hazardous for the environment if disposed of in the sink, but they can cause clogs in your pipes and stop up your drains. Most municipal garbage or waste disposal companies have a specific location or pick-up schedule for hazardous materials, so that’s your best bet to get rid of excess finishing products.

Costs vary by severity and access requirements. Typical pricing ranges from $100 to $350, increasing with complexity or for emergency services.

To unclog the drain pipe, remove the machine's drain hose from the pipe or sink drain, being careful to contain any water in it. Next, use a plunger for sink drains or a plumbing snake for a wall drain. Test the repair by pouring a small amount of water into the pipe before trying it with a laundry load.
