He arrived in a clean, new work truck, with equipment in the back. Everything was very squared away. Since I had to leave to go to town, I wasn't sure how it would go. When I got back home, I was amazed at how my house literally shined! I also spoke with a wonderful young man on the phone who was very polite, with just enough "ma'am" and plenty of "thank you's" to be completely professional. John's PaintingI found John's Custom House Painting on Angie's List and read his and other painting contractor's reviews. I called John and he was able to come that afternoon and provide a price quote with a detailed explanation of what he would do. I obtained another quote and tried to get another, but the third contact never showed. I chose John's Custom House Painting partly because of price, partly because of the reviews, and partly because of my first impression of John and his courteousness and professionalism. I could have not been more pleased with choosing him for painting our house. We live in an early 1930's farmhouse that is about 1300 square feet with 9 1/2 foot ceilings. I had intended on painting the house myself with the help of family and had scraped a fair portion of the lower part of the house. (It took me a year and a half to do just this much.) I cannot climb ladders anymore and decided to hire someone to complete the task. John was booked about a month out and with a few weather delays, he could not start when he was scheduled to. However, John communicated with me often and kept me posted on his progress. When John did start, he came and thoroughly pressure washed the house in a mold and mildewcide and let the house dry for a few days. It took him 3 days to scrape, prime and paint the entire exterior including a large front porch. He kept everything covered as appropriate for protection from overspray. He was very neat and cleaned up every day before leaving. We could not be more pleased with his work and the house looks great! Before John left, I asked him for a quote for painting a water stained ceiling and will definitely hire him for this job as well.- Douglas J.

VAZQUEZ PAINTING & CLEANING SERVICES LLCMy husband and I were more than pleased with the entire process...from the initial meeting and quote...to the completed project. In fact, we had quotes from 3 contractors in the area but felt very comfortable with Mr. Vazquez' professionalism from the start. This was not an easy house, multiple outdoor spaces, including 2 wrap around porches...with over 22 columns and hundreds of spindles. Multiple rooms within the interior were wall papered which needed to be removed...some even on the ceiling. The trim in the house is extensive.. but they did a fantastic job and left our home looking amazing! The project was completed on the promised time schedule as well. Mr. Vazquez and his crew were extremely professional, hard working and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that we were pleased with the job being done. This is the best contractor related experience that we have had to date. We highly recommend Mr. Valquez and his team and will certainly invite them back to do yearly maintenance and additional work when needed. Mr. Valquez takes great pride in his work...and his crew has the same work ethic. They are a pleasure to work with and that is important when you have crews in and around your home.
