"Like aforementioned, Tonya's crew did work in a timely manner. She was very nice to me on the phone--a bit more friendly than what I'd consider professional, but still courteous and polite. We had to play phone tag sometimes but overall communication was good. This was my first time getting trees cut and the stump grinding done. This is a suggestion, but it would have been nice to have been told what I may have to do with where the stumps used to be (regarding digging up the mulch and replacing with top soil if wanting to grass it over, etc). I felt the price was higher than I had expected, but all the other tree cutting companies I had contacted never replied back. Regardless, this wasn't a job I wanted to try to do even if had the time. Also there was a timing issue for payment so she waived the credit card transaction fee so I could pay over the phone which was super nice. Thanks again!"

"Great guy, and great customer service. He did a comprehensive check and replaced and repaired parts on my dated sprinkler system. Not all 5's because they accidentally cut my dog fence wire, which caused me some headache, but he was responsive and made sure the damage was fixed promptly. Would definitely recommend his service and will use his business again in the future."

"Manuel was here the same day we requested a quote. He looked at our project, we agreed to a price and his staff was here the next day. They trimmed our 45 arborvitae’s to a perfect hedge, checking in with us as they went along to make sure the height was what we wanted. Did a fantastic job and cleaned up the entire area. Extremely happy with their service. We would highly recommend them and will use them on other projects."

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

Toilet paper is the only material that you should flush down toilets. Other items like wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, dental floss, and medications should be disposed of in the trash. Flushing these items can lead to plumbing issues and damage to sewage systems. Grease and cooking oils should also be avoided as they can solidify in pipes, causing blockages. Proper disposal helps prevent clogs and ensures the efficient operation of wastewater treatment systems while protecting the environment.

A septic system can fail for various reasons, and most commonly, excessive water use or sudden surges in wastewater can overwhelm the system's capacity. Neglecting regular maintenance, like tank pumping and inspections, can also lead to clogs, leaks, and eventual breakdowns. Other issues that lead to failure include age-related wear and tear, root infiltration, improper disposal of non-biodegradable materials or chemicals into the system, unsuitable soil conditions, physical damage, and even environmental factors like flooding or soil erosion.

On average, you should call a pro to pump your cesspool once per year. If you have a larger home with a lot of family members, you may need to pump more (up to six times per year). On the flip side, if you’re talking about a cesspool for a home you don’t use much or if you’re the only occupant in a home, you won’t have to pump nearly as much.

Yes, it is possible to pump a septic tank too frequently. The ideal pumping schedule varies based on the tank's capacity, household size, and water usage. Pumping the septic tank more often than recommended can cause the beneficial bacteria to leach into the drain field, leading to an imbalance and a build-up of solid waste.

You should pump your septic tank once every two to four years for a family of four, depending on your septic tank size. You should pump a 1,000-gallon septic tank every two years, while a 1,500-gallon tank should be pumped every four years. Water usage also affects how often you should pump your septic tank. If you notice slow drains, foul smells, or gurgling sounds from your drains, you should pump your septic tank as soon as possible.
