"Nate came out at the scheduled time and immediately went to work fixing my outdoor spigot/faucet. He was very professional and appears to be very skilled at plumbing. He also checked and adjusted my water pressure before he left which I appreciated and he took the time to address additional concerns that I did not originally call him out for. Professional, skilled, and thorough. I will be calling on GatorFlow/ Nate in the near future! Thank you Angi for the great referral and thank you Nate for a job well done."

"These guys went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. My new refrigerator was too big for the spot it had to go. These young men removed wood from the insert until my fridge not only fit but I could open both doors (one side was against a wall). Then we discovered the water line didn’t work, so the guys immediately became plumbers and had to crawl under my house to fix the line. I am very happy! Hire them - apparently they can do anything!"

"Tim called a few days before coming to assess what my needs were. We set a date and time for the service, and he made sure to call when he was on the way. He completed everything I needed and made sure to clean up the area where he worked. While we could not fix my tub leak today, he assessed what the problem was and we will complete the job at another time. I appreciated his honesty and attention to detail. I will call on him again in the future."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. They’re also longer than other drains, allowing for more space to let debris fall into the drainpipe.

Clogs in a sprinkler valve can be caused by various factors, including debris in the water supply, sediment buildup inside the valve, or damage to the diaphragm. Debris and sediment can accumulate over time, obstructing the valve's passages and impeding water flow. Damaged diaphragms may develop tears or holes, leading to blockages and affecting the valve's ability to open or close properly. Regular maintenance and cleaning can help prevent and address these issues, ensuring your sprinkler valve operates smoothly.

Preventing water accumulation involves regular inspections, maintaining effective drainage systems, ensuring proper roof maintenance, and taking preventive measures against heavy rainfall or floods.

A good option for opening up and cleaning a sink drain is to use a ¼ cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar, along with a rubber stopper to cover the drain while those materials work their magic. After about 15 minutes, you can flush the drain with hot water. In many cases, these materials can scrub out minor clogs and get the drain working properly again. If the issue persists, call in a plumber near you to get the problem permanently fixed.

Yes, hiring a drain cleaner is worth it, especially when compared to the cost of not being able to use a sink, shower, toilet, or bathtub and the potential damage that flooding can cause in your home. You might try a temporary drain cleaning liquid or snaking it yourself, but if the clog is out of reach or these methods do not work, then hiring a professional drain cleaner is the way to go.
