"American Home Shield designated them to work on my heater. The tech came Oct 31 and said I needed a heat regulator. After a week I called and was told it was back ordered. I called after 3 weeks almost a dozen times only got a voicemail, no call back. I called American Home Shield 3 times and they could not get a response. I emailed without any results. Finally because it was getting cold outside and had company coming for Thanksgiving I decided to order the part from Ferguson Plumbing Supply snd got the part delivered in 3 days! I paid a local plumber to install it. I ended up paying a $100 service fee to Cornerstone, them $700 for the part and installation which insurance would not cover. So if you use this company don’t say I did not warn you"

We are a specialty contractor where put customer service FIRST and foremost. We believe in making repairs onetime, the first time and we continue to hold true to our values of ethics, integrity, and honesty. Find out why we are one of the, if not the most referred and preferred HVAC companies in all of SC and GA Lowcountry!!

"First guy came fixed it and said it was going and we would need a new one soon. So we would use it till it went. No issue there. Called them back because the water was not hot enough and he did not put it back where it was. They said it would not be no cost since they where just here. Different guy came and said he didn't touch it and it the water heater so he would have to charge me. As far as I'm concern I don't know what He did under the house but I will be able to tell when I run the water if he higher it or not and I was not going to pay them. He left and he did higher it because my hot water so far is good. They were looking to put a new one in. Yes eventually I will need one we know that but I don't need a company they is money hungry and try to get over on people."

Gas Leak Repair questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on material, labor, gas line setup, and custom design elements.

Most qualified local plumbers in your area should be able to help with this job. However, it's always best to check with your utility company before starting any gas-related project. Speak with them about your needs and request recommendations for licensed plumbers who can pull permits and properly install the line.

No, fixing or patching a hole in a gas line may not seal it completely. A patch should be a temporary solution because the damaged area will be weaker than the rest of the pipe, increasing the likelihood of future leaks. Therefore, if a gas line incurs damage, call a licensed plumber and have it replaced right away.

Shut-off valves, like any other piece of metal hardware, can corrode, age, get worn down, and eventually break or rust into place. Occasionally spray your shut-off valve with WD-40 to stall it from rusting. If it really gets stuck, a wrench and WD-40 will usually do the trick, but you will need to call a plumber if it’s completely unmovable.

Yes, it’s possible to cap a gas line yourself if you’re no longer using it or are simply going out of town for an extended period of time. It’s essential to follow the steps on properly capping a gas line yourself. If you’re uncomfortable with any of the steps, you may want to bring in a natural gas plumber for added reassurance.
