Award winning. Gutter Glove of NC LLC is the premium supplier of gutter protection system in the State of North Carolina. Additional contact names - Richard Stroup, Louis Sauer. Additional phone - (919) 696-8839. Award wining.

"Owner Ricky Stroup was infinitely patient with us, as after our initial meeting it took us over a year to hire his company to do this work. During that year, we had multiple conversations with him regarding the scope of our project, and he was as willing to contract the scope as to expand it. He wrote several proposals for us, so we could see the financial impacts of our different scope options. Our indecision on scope, and delay in scheduling, never caused any frustration or ill will on his part. Mr. Stroup was helpful, friendly, and patient throughout! His team installed everything in one day, and all who worked on our project were extremely courteous and professional. We have been very impressed with the quality of the work. Working with Gutter Glove of North Carolina was an enjoyable experience, and I recommend this company!"

Baker's Home Services is a locally owned and operated business catering to Upstate, SC. We believe that we're able to satisfy customers needs because we love what we do. We thoroughly enjoy showing up to a project, evaluating what needs to be improved, and getting after it. This business is all about results and customer input. Our main goal is to leave every job knowing that we visually or structurally enhanced the home owners property to meet their specific needs.

"Very punctual and professional from the start. Best price by far out of 3 quotes and offered gutter cleaning which most other pressure washing companies didn’t. Had a small issue but it was resolved quickly and I am very satisfied! Will definitely be using them again."

We are local high end out door living company. We build new composite decks, resurface existing ones, aluminum screen rooms, roof structures, fireplaces, fire pits, patios. We do not do repair work or build fences. Please contact us at our website for a quote: https://www.legacydecks.com/free-estimate/

"We live in a historic district of Greenville. It took Deckmasters some time to figure out what was allowed (not standard decking). This did add some cost. We used top of the line composite material they recommended. Result is fantastic. Crew was very professional, responsive and tidy."

One of the best and most known company's in the area, in service in Greenville SC since 1995. We strive to be as proffessional as possible to provide our clients with the best results.

"Absolutely criminal…he charged us a large amount of money to replace a deck, and over the course of 4 weeks his crew deconstructed and then tried to reconstruct our deck THREE times, each time failing to do it correctly. He used mismatched materials and his crew has obviously never built a deck before, though he claimed they had built “more than 30”. Stay away at all costs! Now we are having to hire a professional company to completely start over from scratch with all new material, and the project is costing us almost triple what it should have."

Woodworking questions, answered by experts

Pole barns and carports are similar in that they rely on posts for support and are often not connected to a primary structure. The main difference between the two is that pole barns usually include walls that surround the entire perimeter of the structure, while carports generally remain open on three or four sides. It’s possible to insulate garage doors and even exterior walls on pole barns to create a comfortable workspace, and it’s a bit more secure for storage purposes. However, carports are more affordable.

Poured concrete is one of the best bases for a carport. You'll get one of the biggest bangs for your buck with concrete, thanks to its durability. At the same time, if concrete isn't in your budget, it might not be the best base for your installation. Dirt foundations, gravel foundations, and permeable pavers work in a crunch and can be long-lasting without the higher price tag of poured concrete.

The national average cost of a building permit is about $1,600, but this number includes extensive renovations. Homeowners typically spend between $150 and $2,000 in general on one or multiple permits for their project. Conversely, permits for simple projects, such as minor electrical renovations, could cost as little as $10.

Yes, in all cases, it should be more affordable to build your own carport than it would be to hire a professional to do the work. The material costs can sometimes cost a little more through a professional because they can mark it up for delivery and procurement costs. You’ll also save hundreds or thousands on labor fees if you install your carport yourself.

Building a wooden carport costs between $3,000 and $12,000, depending on size, materials, and custom features.
