"Awful. Bob Dewhurst started the job on March 1, 2021. Was supposed to take 3-5 days. As of May 27, 2021 he has not completed our bathroom and the work that has been done needs to be redone. Shower pan leaks, Onyx walls are bowing, there is a crack in one of the Onyx walls that his crew tried to hide from us with silicone. We have paid him money and he will complete job. If you use him make sure you have an attorney on retainer."

A chipped bathtub could leak over time if you don’t take care of the issue. A tiny chip isn’t a big deal but may eventually grow into a larger crack. But remember that resurfacing is a temporary solution for a worn-out tub, and you may need to refinish a tub every few years to keep it looking new.

Most homeowners need to wait at least two days, sometimes three, to use their bathtub following the reglazing process. That’s the normal length of time it takes for epoxy resin to cure. There are quick-dry epoxy kits available that cure in 12 hours, though. To ensure that the epoxy dries properly, try to ventilate the bathroom as well as you can.

It is best to wear a respirator during the sanding, painting, and sealing process. It can filter particles, vapors, and fumes that can be toxic to breathe. So it’s better to be safe and protect your lungs during this project.
