"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

"Another great experience with American Standard Painting.  Jeff and James responded right away and were over the next day to look at the job.  I needed 2 rooms, walls, ceiling and woodwork painted. They knew what paint to get for my price range. They told me what the best paint would cost and they told me which paint they recommended for the job. They went out and bought the paint and materials and were back pretty fast to start the job.  They were exceptionally careful in protecting furniture and floors. This company did a great prep job, took care of the defects in the walls and woodwork and restored 2 windows.  They worked through the evening to get the job done for me.  They took care to do a great job with clean-up at the end of each job.  The thing I really like about them is that they are not just painters; they are so knowledgable about other things like restoring windows and carpentry.  Excellent restoration job to the windows and the reframed door came out perfect.  I was impressed with their carpentry skills. These guys don't dilly-dally.  They are totally focused on getting the job done.

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Tools include trowels, floats, and patching compounds. Professionals use these for precise and durable repairs.

Yes, you can screw directly into stucco. Only do so if the item you are installing is a permanent fixture. Drill a pilot hole into the stucco using a masonry or concrete bit, then drive in the screw with a power drill or screwdriver.

Stucco will dry in two to three days, but you should wait one to two months to allow it to cure fully before you paint it. The curing process is slow, but leaving the material exposed to air and natural moisture will help it reach its maximum strength. If you live in a hot, arid climate, wait a month before painting. Wait two months before painting if you live in a more moderate or wet climate.

A standard drill will work just fine if you’re drilling small holes, and only a few of them. But anything with a diameter larger than 3/8 inch is best done with a hammer drill, since it is stronger, faster, and also makes your drill bits last longer. While you don’t absolutely need a hammer drill for stucco, it is a worthy investment if you think you might drill more holes down the road.

Well-maintained trim boosts aesthetic appeal and prevents costly future repairs.
