"It went soooo well! When I called to request a pickup, I had no difficulty getting through via telephone. I learned that I could also place a request for my pickup via the internet/website too. I gave them my credit card, and walla! the next day, my bag was emptied and I went back to my project. Since I own this bag, I don't feel pressure getting it filled because it is being picked up at the end of the rental. I call when I'm ready! Not when someone else is.The best part of this was that, although on the surface, it appears to be more expensive than when you rent a dumpster, but with a dumpster you pay for the weight. This you don't. It makes life easier because you have no surprises. Plus my driveway and yard is still in tact and my wife doesn't complain about an ugly dumpster. Can you tell how happy we are! We would highly recommend this to all of our friends and family!"

"After refinishing kitchen cabinets ourselves, we were ready to hire someone to re-hang the cabinet doors with new hinges and add the pulls. Joseph was responsive, prompt and courteous with his estimate, and though ours was a small job compared to others he had, he still treated us as an important customer. He recommended hinges that would be appropriate for our need, and worked with us to stay within our budget. We appreciated all the communication - emails, follow-up calls, confirmation. Our job was scheduled quickly, his workers arrived on time, and they did a great job. They were pleasant to have in the house and cleaned up when they were done. I love the look of my "new" cabinets!"

"Let me start off by stating there was a lot of mis-communication on both sides.  I purchase the contractor for 4 hours through angieslist.  No one came to access the work prior to the job.  Once they arrived for the job, they stated that they were not able to perform the job that I had requested.  They walked off the job stating that they would be back the next day to work on a compromise.  I called into work for the second straight day with no one arriving to work on the job.
I called the company and was told that I needed to call my roofing company first.  This is where my mis-communication came into play.  We discussed another compromise of the work needed to be done and scheduled it for the end of that week.  The agreement was 16 man hours for two workers at a rate of 75 an hour.  I agreed to this for a total cost of 900 in addition to the 350 purchased through angieslist.  For two days worth of work, I felt that this was fair.
On Friday, I received a call stating that their truck had broken down.  Fully understandable, things like this happen.  I rescheduled the work for Monday 8/18 at 8am.  I needed to go to work that day, but fortunately my wife didn't need to leave until 8:30, so she was willing to discuss the work and materials that we purchased for the job.  Upon my break around noon, I checked my phone and had a voicemail stating that they were on their way.  The message was at 9:15.  My wife and I planned for this possibility, so we left directions on the front door and materials on the front porch.
I arrived back and was encouraged with the progress.  They took it upon themselves to finish underneath the softfits, which was not discussed prior.  However, the job was to sand and treat the high trim.  Meaning, filling in holes and cracks before applying the stain.  There are still nails sticking out of the high trim.  There are spots missing stain.  There is stain on my roof shingles, and I found cigarette butts around my lawn for about two weeks.  The owner of the company stated that it was hard work.  They finished roughly around 5 pm on 8/18 for a total amount of time of 7 two man hours.  The owner said that they hauled and the job would still be 900.  That would be fine if the work was done better not halfheartedly.  My favorite part of this was the end after he had my check, he said they do all kind of work and how they take pride in doing it well.  If this is what they consider as a job well done, I am all set with this company.
I would highly not recommend this company.

Driveway Gates questions, answered by experts

Assuming the site is prepped and you have all the tools and materials ready, you should budget the better part of a day to build a driveway gate. This can depend on your DIY experience and which materials you’ve chosen, such as building from scratch or using a prefabricated option. The gate size and finishing touches, like painting or staining, can also add to the overall time budget.

A security door costs an average of $1,400, but costs can range from $600 for a simple screen or steel door to more than $4,600 for a wrought-iron security door. You can also buy specialized locks separately for $200 to $600. If you decide to hire a pro to install your new security door, you’ll spend around $275 to $425 on labor costs.

You can install a privacy cover on your wrought iron gate anytime. However, pick a dry day if you apply stain or paint to the paneling. If you’re hiring a local fencing contractor, they often offer better rates in their low season outside the busy spring and summer months.

A DIY manual wooden gate costs $200 to $600 for a basic single-swing gate. If you want to hire a pro, a manual wood gate can cost $400 to $4,000. For automated wood gates, expect to pay $850 to $8,500.

Factors that affect price include the quality of materials, cost of labor, the height of the gate, and the type of gate you need.

For homeowners concerned about security, an electric gate may offer peace of mind. Electric gates will require a code or remote to open, so you don’t have to worry about young children getting out of the yard or someone breaking onto your property by simply swinging open the gate. But because it needs power to operate, installing an electric gate will be more complex and expensive.
