You should tune up your garage door at least once per year to keep it running smoothly. However, if you notice signs of wear and tear, it’s wise to get a tune-up every six months. Performing regular tune-ups can help you catch small issues before they turn into serious problems.

Vinyl is the budget-friendly option, lasting well in moderate climates and resisting wear and tear. In colder climates, it can get stiff and make installation more difficult. Alternatively, rubber offers more flexibility, even in freezing temperatures, and better sticks to uneven surfaces. Rubber is more expensive but tends to be more adaptable.
