"I called Full Landscaping based on a neighbors recommendation, I needed to have an oak tree removed. I was not disappointed. The Full Landscaping & Tree Service crew were timely, organized and totally professional. Each crew member worked in unison with one another, like a well oiled machine. Their price point was very reasonable. I highly recommend Full Landscaping and Tree Service. I was really impressed and would not hesitate to call upon them again."

"This gentleman was a referral by a few of my local neighbors whoâ ve had some landscaping work done to their homes. I called Eddi, scheduled an appointment and he was able to schedule me in the following day! I had some branches/ leaves removed from my front yard, and two dead bushes removed from my back yard."

Small jobs welcome

"Fast and courteous service. Our lawnmower broke and had to be repaired. I called Express and they came the next day and the following week. We expected service on our lawnmower to be about two weeks, but it wasn't. Again I had to call Express and explain that our service was taking another week. Express was at our house the very next day. Very reliable."

Small jobs welcome

"It?s been over a year since Pj's team transformed my brand?new property to the next level. I?m still impressed, every time I step outside to see the pondless feature, which was beautifully designed, expertly installed that elevated the entire landscape. Pj took the time to understand what my family wanted, offered thoughtful recommendations, and delivered a result that blended creativity, craftsmanship, and technical skill. Throughout the entire process ? from design to installation to follow?up ? he was consistently responsive, reliable, and genuinely committed to making sure everything was perfect. Even after the project was completed, he stood behind his work and made it clear that his support didn?t end once the job was done. If you?re considering any pond?related project, big or small, I can confidently say you?ll be in excellent hands with Pj. His professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in his craft truly sets him apart? Thanks Pj!!!"

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Landscape design can be a simple service that includes a drawing or visual representation of how your yard can be set up and optimized for your intended purposes. But it can also include all of the manual labor to make your vision a reality. When you speak with your landscape designer, ensure everyone understands the specific services you want. Some add-on services may include the following:

  • Sourcing and delivery of raw materials

  • Professional installation of features, including pergolas, decks, and pathways

  • Drainage system design

  • Recommendations for specific plants and trees

A scattering of leaves won’t pose a problem through the winter, but a thicker layer of leaves may not decompose before the first frost and can instead weigh down your grass and harbor mold or fungi. A thick layer of leaves also cuts off light and air that grass needs to grow. That’s why we suggest removing thick leaf layers within several days if possible. If your lawn goes dormant over the winter and snow has already caught up with you, then remove the leaves in early spring before your grass-growing season starts so your lawn can thrive.

Determining how many boulders you’ll need for your landscaping project depends on the area you need to cover and how big each boulder is. First, you’ll need to determine how big of an area you want covered, then divide that by the base surface area of the boulders. A landscape professional can help you determine how many boulders will be right for your project.

Unless it only rains once in a blue moon where you live, you’re going to want water-loving plants in your garden bed or pot. A few ideas for plants that aren’t super fast-growing (meaning they’re good in pots or near foundations) and can handle a lot of standing water include:

  • Acorus (Sweet flag)

  • Colocasia esculenta (Taro or elephant ear): In many climates, these are annuals, making them less desirable because you need to adjust the chain again after each replant.

  • Equisetum scirpoides (Dwarf horsetail rush): non-dwarf varieties of horsetail are fast growers and can take over quickly.

  • Juncus effusus (Curly rush)

  • Osmunda regalis (Royal fern): Royal fern can grow quickly but can also handle being crowded, making them good container plants.

Plant a peach tree right at the end of your local dormancy period, likely at the very end of winter after the last frost when you can dig into the soft soil. Plan your backyard gardening season, including when planting peach trees, based on the frost schedule predicted in your local hardiness zone.
