"Very well! Andrew the owner & his associates completed the job in two visits. The first was to power wash the cedar porch ceiling and decking/ railings which took about 2 1/2 hrs. Two days later (rain in forecast) they were able to polyurethane the ceiling & stain the rest in about 8 hrs. It turned out great and was long overdue."

Rags used with oil-based stains are highly flammable and can spontaneously combust in the right conditions. When applying multiple coats, wait four to six hours for each coat to dry. Not waiting long enough can result in streaks, peeling, and uneven color. Plus, it will be more difficult to discern where the second coat has already been applied.
