"Gregg is amazing. The carpets I had him clean were in rough shape to say the least. I thought the stains would never come out. Seriously, they were rough. Gregg came in and got all the stains out and gave my carpets new life. I could not be happier with the end result. Gregg also clean the kitchen and bathroom. I stopped by and was amazed at how the fridge sparkled. Gregg is unbelievable! Highly recommend his services."

Hello, I am starting a cleaning business this year. I love to clean and organize. After working full time job for 9 years having 5 kids I have been wanting to have more time to spend with my children and be flexible with my week schedule. Having 2 kids with disability I have found it much rewarding to do the one thing I love which is clean and also still cater as a full time single mom to my kids needs and wants. I am here to help clean your home take the load off of you. Maybe clean up before a party or event or after. I have done house cleaning as a nanny, I have cleaned during parties as well. Please help me grow my business.

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Many household items neutralize the smell of urine, including fabric sprays and baking soda, a great odor absorber. Or try combining baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to cut through the smell. If these items don’t work to completely remove the smell of pet urine, try an enzymatic cleaner, which works to break down organic matter such as urine, and is readily available at most pet stores.

You’ll need to decide which cleaning treatments and methods are the right fit for your rug. Depending on the rug material, age, and the amount of traffic it gets, different treatments to consider include:

  • Stain removal: $10–$50 per stain

  • Anti-odor treatment: $15–$75 per rug

  • Stain protection: $1.50–$2.50 per square foot

  • Moth protection: $1–$2 per square foot

  • Wool treatment: $1–$2 per square foot

  • Antimicrobial disinfectant: $2–$3 per square foot

You’ve stored your coats away all summer long, but now that the temperatures drop, you notice they smell weird as you pull them from storage. What’s the deal? If your clothes smell weird after you stored them, they may have been in a moist, dark environment for several weeks or months. This environment is ideal for mildew growth, which can make clothes smell musty.

Steam cleaning your furniture is a popular method used by most professional services. It calls for special equipment that uses steam and suction to pull dirt, dust, pet hair, pet dander, and other debris out of upholstery and other materials. It’s a great way to get out stains and messes gently without risking damage to the fabric. It is covered by the professional furniture upholstery cleaner’s rate average of $150 to $250.

Without the proper cleaning techniques and products, your couch may look worn out and discolored after cleaning. This happens when you use too much water or soap, or use the wrong cleaning product for your couch’s fabric. To avoid an unsightly couch after cleaning, double-check that you’re using the correct amount of an approved cleaner along with the proper techniques.
