"This was a dirty job, the guys had to pull all the plaster and slats off the ceiling which had coal ash in it out of my attic. They had it down within the day and bagged. The ceiling was very uneven. Jonathan was in charge and did an excellent job and made everything very even. as he was placing the new drywall in, he found a leak in my roof due to the 50 mph winds we had the prior day pulling some shingling off. he let me know of the problem and quickly went to work fixing that for a small fee on top of the given fee for what they were tasked to do. He and his crew were awesome workers and very pleasant and upbeat. I am very happy with the work these guys did."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Your contractor will need several days to several weeks as far as a timeline to install your semi-inground pool goes. Adapting an aboveground pool to be semi-inground by excavating and partially burying the liner, for example, will only take three to five days, while installing an in-ground pool with a poured concrete liner and building up the land around it will require several weeks. Keep in mind that the process of hiring a pool contractor and applying for permits can add several additional weeks to the total timeline.

It’s a good idea to wait at least 24 hours after opening your pool before you swim in it. Pool opening often involves shocking the water, and the chemical levels need to come down a bit before it’s safe to swim. You can continue testing your water pH and chlorine levels if you’re in a rush. It’s wise to wait until your chlorine levels drop to under four parts per million (ppm) and you have a water pH of between 7.2 and 7.8. You can artificially lower your water pH to speed up the process.

It’s not ideal to swim in a cloud pool, as it can be a sign of algae, bacteria, or calcium buildup as well as chlorine, pH, or alkalinity imbalances. It is best to avoid cloudy water in pools until you determine the cause of the color change.

You can place many materials under a pool to level it, including sand, concrete, solid foam, pavers, or finely crushed gravel. You can also use a tamper or roller to level ground without using a shovel to dig. No matter the material, make sure to level the ground with sand first for a smooth, even surface for the pool to sit on.

Yes, you can absolutely use a sand filter with a saltwater pool, but you’ll have to make sure you have the right grade of sand to catch smaller particles, just like in a standard pool. To choose the right pool filter, consider the degree of filtration you’ll need. Cartridge or diatomaceous earth filters can remove smaller particles, so they’re better suited for a less chlorinated saltwater pool.
