The first time the provider came to my home they diagnosed the error code 1100 (overcranking). After failing to get the generator to start they claimed the circuit board was faulty (melted) and took the part back to their shop in order to attempt to repair it. No images or proof of anything was provided to the owner to back this claim and the old part was not returned to me. After reaching out a number of times I was informed by the provider that I would need a new circuit board and mine was not fixable. I was quoted $1,250 for the part. I confirmed with the provider that the cost did not include labor, I was informed that labor would be an additional $310. When the new part was installed the problem was still not resolved and I was recommended to a new company, Power Watch, by the provider. When Power Watch came they instantly notified me that the circuit board the provider installed was in fact the wrong part for my generator. I instantly informed the provider of this fact and they called me to defend the fact that they did not install the wrong part. However the generator would not identify with their part installed, Power Watch said it was wrong and went so far as to confirm from Generac, the company who made the generator, that the part was in fact incorrect. Not only that but Power Watch looked up the part number and informed me that the part should have only cost $649, not $1,250. When the provider was confronted with this information again he called me to verbally express his discontent as well as his disagreeance with what they were saying. Afterward the provider informed me he was "well aware" that I would be giving him a negative review and hung up the phone refusing to make anything right.

This is the slowest company to work with I have ever dealt with. Do not trust them to honor a commitment. I have been dealing with Dave (who is Honey Electric and Mechanical) since November 11 2017 and the Hot Tub Repair job is still not done today on Aug 9, 2018. He did not come when he said he would in November, then it got cold and icy and we postponed the project until he finally came out on March 30. Now mid August I still have a broken hot tub and he is still giving me a runaround. I came to Dave complaining of a slow leak and a waterlogged cover. On his first visit fortunately he diagnosed the leak as cracked motor that was cracked and insufficiently sealed when I bought the brand new, expensive, "HotSpring" brand hot tub. We agreed for him to come back with the new part and with a new cover. He convinced me to also buy a new ozonator and cover lifter. He came back 5 weeks later with the motor, ozonator, and cover. This was May 3. Unfortunately he did not have the cover lifter. He apologized, said they were out of stock, and said I would not have to pay a third travel charge when he returned with the following week. Very, very, very unfortunately I allowed him to remove our old cover lifter and we threw it away. Now all summer we barely use our hot tub because it is so hard for us to put the cover back on after we take it off. On May 26 Dave said he would make it a high priority. On June 3 he scheduled a visit the following day. He was also going to do an electrical repair for our swimming pool pump timer. Later on June 3 he canceled and said the cover lifters would take another week to come in. Then he stopped returning my texts. On July 11 we canceled our request for the electrical work and asked again for the cover lifter. On July 17 we asked again for the cover lifter. On July 27 we asked again for the cover lifter. That day he callously replied that he no longer carried cover lifters and implied that he was done since we had not paid for it in advance. We told him that is unacceptable since he remove our old cover lifter and left us with nothing. Finally, today, 2 weeks later, after I told him he owed me money for the extra visits we would need another repairman to do, he agreed he would send somebody to install the cover lifter if we got one ourselves. This is an unfinished story. I asked him where to get one and he gave me a name and number, but now I'm angry I have to do some of his work for him.

Hot Tub Repair Dave made several trips until the job was completed. It was more complex than initially thought to be, but after receiving a faulty part, he got a new one and was very determined to make sure the job was completed satisfactorily.

I hired Dave strictly because he was listed in this site. This transaction turned out to be a very good experience. I have an 11 year old Cal Spa hottub which, apparently, is difficult to have serviced but Dave serviced it!!! He worked on my tub even when I was at work which made my life happier! Although the repairs to my tub were more extensive/costly than I anticipated, it also enabled me to keep my tub without replacing it!!! Resulting in substantial savings in the long run. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone needing hot tub repairs!!

There were 2 issues with my hot tub. He found and fixed them quickly. I am very happy to have my hot tub running smoothly again!

Was having problems with blown breakers on my 11 year old whirlpool. Called three other service places in the York area and no one returned the calls. Received a quick response from Honey Electric. Had to replace the Ozone Generator. They were finished in less than an hour. Their total cost was $500 which was overly expensive but considering that no one else here apparently needs my business you do what you have to do. Other than cost, very satisfied with Honey Electric.

I searched online at 6:30am and had a call from the electrician by 7:15am. Repairman was at my door by 1:30pm communicating when he would arrive. Top notch customer service and the repairman knew exactly how to fix my hot tub. Thank you Dave!

Did what they said they would, all that I ask.

He came the same day and got my hot tub up and running in a little over an hour. His knowledge was great and got the job right. He also was friendly to my dog . Extremely happy and highly recommended.
