"These guys were super professional and easy to be around. Were good at explaining what they were doing so i could understand.  Didn't ruin my garden where they were working outside the house.  Every time they came in the house, they put on little scrub-type-booties over their workboots!  Owner, John, brought them lunch, then stayed to inspect and personally help with labelling the new electric panel (which many electricians fail to do at all).  I highly, highly recommend these guys.

For a 200-amp underground service, you need a minimum of #2/0 American Wire Gauge (AWG) copper or #4/0 AWG aluminum or copper-clad wire. Don’t forget that, at minimum, you’ll need to use a 1 1/2-inch schedule 40 or 80 PVC conduit to successfully run a 200-amp underground service.

Outdoor outlets should be at least 15-amp, but preferably 20-amp. The exact rating will depend on the electrical load of the devices that will be plugged into the outlet and the capacity of the circuit. It's important not to overload the circuit, which can cause safety hazards such as tripped breakers or electrical fires. In general, a circuit rated for at least 20 amps is recommended for outdoor outlets, while each outlet should be rated for at least 15 amps.

An outlet can trip because the circuit it’s on is overloaded, meaning the devices plugged into it are drawing more power than the circuit can safely carry. Another culprit could be because a power surge from a storm or accident caused a problem with your local electrical grid or there’s a short or a fault causing power to run through the circuit in a dangerous or unplanned way.

According to the National Electrical Code (NEC), GFCI outlets should be installed in wet or damp locations where they might be splashed with water or other liquids. This is to protect against ground faults, which are more common around water. Specific areas that require GFCI outlets include kitchens (especially near counters), bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, garages, and all outdoor receptacles. Depending on local electrical codes, you may need at least one GFCI outlet in these rooms, or every outlet in the area may need to be GFCI protected.

Often, you can add extra breakers to an electrical panel. A new breaker can help with new appliance needs, and it’s a common solution when finishing an attic or basement. However, adding extra breakers can’t bring in more amps to your house, so you still need enough amp service to power everything in total.
