"Great work. Moved most of the heavy items in the basement, epoxy finish looks amazing. Third floor room went from blue, orange, purple and lime green child's room to a neutral any age bedroom. They tinted the primer for best coverage of old color, two coats of paint. Instead of just touching up the baseboards as we agreed, they repainted them completely so the finish would look better. This is the second job they've done for us. Wonderful company!

"Our kitchen and bathroom had last been remodeled thirty years ago. The kitchen had Formica counters, hardwood cupboards, and recessed fluorescent lighting behind plastic shields in a wooden frame. The bathroom had a tub/shower with a bad ceiling and old, yellow, cracked tile walls. We called several companies and discussed our remodeling plans with them. In the kitchen, we wanted granite counters, refinished raised ceiling with recessed LED lighting, a new cooktop installed, two new cupboards built, and existing hardwood cupboard touched up to make them look nearly new again. In the bathroom, we wanted new shower tile, a small drop-wall removed from ceiling, and a new fan. Our budget was about $23,000. We went with CBriggs because they were the ones who best understood what we wanted and didnâ t try to up the contract by suggesting ideas way beyond what we were proposing. I was impressed with how hard Chip worked to keep the project within our budget. The project had the usual glitches and delays waiting for suppliers, granite cutters/installers, and homeowners who might have waited a little too long to order things to be installed, but nothing serious (besides, it was during the Christmas holidays). The project was slated to be three weeks, and it probably was three weeks of work-time, spread out over about five weeks; nothing we couldnâ t live with. They made sure we had a kitchen and bathroom that worked no matter what state they were in as the project progressed. The workers were extremely polite, hard-working, and wore their Covid masks. The two kitchen cabinets Jack built for us match the existing nearly perfectly. Due to the high quality of his work, Iâ ve asked Jack to come back and add two drawers to a bathroom vanity. By the time we were done, we had exceeded our original contract by about 10% because of changes and additions we made along the way. Chip worked with us on these, coming up with ideas to keep us as close as possible to our planned expenditure. Our final price was about $25,000. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to any who want a project done well and on budget."

"Initial discussion with contractor went well and they were responsive to inquiry from Angies List and provided a quote over the phone and scheduled the appointment. The contractor showed up on time to start the work and did a pretty good job keeping a clean workspace and clean up. I was very disappointed though upon the completion of the work in which they removed a 8in wide window and replaced it with a 4in wide glass block which left a 4in wide gap of exposed concrete foundation between the finished drywall and new window. Also while removing the old window the contractor damaged the drywall in the basement to which they replied that I could hire someone else to cover up the new 4in gap of exposed foundation and damaged drywall. The window work was good but I did not expect that I would then have additional repair work to perform after the contractor was done."

"Estimator Chris was very prompt in returning my call, arrived on time and provided estimate promptly.  Walked the roof which I appreciated as there was some question as to whether the plywood underlay might be damaged, and could substantially affect the price.  Started the job faster than I anticipated (a good thing!).  It took nearly 3 weeks to complete (as expected) with the same 4 guys usually there every day (again, a fairly complex residential roof).  Crew was efficient and courteous. Supervisor was professional and responsive to my questions.  Chris checked in regularly, either in person or via text, and responded quickly to all questions.  Clean up was thorough.  Their estimate was not the lowest I received but it was in the ballpark and Angie's List rating was strong. Overall this was a high quality job and I would definitely recommend them.
