This survey was so much better than the one I had when I bought the house 20 years ago: the previous, small wood stakes had disintegrated in the dirt, and Charles put 2' metal stakes with bright metal and plastic caps on top, in many locations where we needed to see them for fence installation, not just at the corners.   • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.
