Small jobs welcome

"Tim was very responsive with my contacts to him and was even able to come earlier to the estimated time when I asked if he could come as early as possible to do my trash removal. Him and his worker with him were very kind, prompt, details, and very responsive of my home. They made sure to watch their step while carrying my trash to their trunk. I will be contacting them again after my next stage of home repair is done and will most likely need trash removal then too."

"Mike does an excellent job whether it is removing our dying Ash trees or expertly trimming and maintaining our trees. He is friendly, thorough, and takes the time to discuss the process. His fees are very reasonable. We highly recommend!"

"We hired J&J Abatement and Demolition for what *seemed* to be a straightforward vermiculite removal in the attic of our newly purchased home. Jay and his partner started on the removal and discovered more than double the amount of vermiculite than was seen during the estimate. We are new, first time homeowners so you know that we were concerned about cost, but also very much wanted the asbestos gone! Jay was incredibly reasonable given the added square footage and did such a thorough job. This job took so much more time than I think any of us planned for because the space posed many challenges (unstable flooring, nails in the wood, not to mention the summer heat in an attic). We are so grateful to J&J for working with us, communicating with us every step of the way, and getting the job done! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for asbestos removal!!"

"Joe and his crew Jose and Carlos were great. Always on time and worked hard to get the job done on some pretty hot days! Joe visited our property to discuss our needs/wants and had great suggestions when we weren't sure of what we wanted. Lana at the nursery was a big help in showing us options for the garden. Joe picked what would work in the location. and the garden looks great. Joe suggested that we wait until the weather breaks to plant the trees we picked. A suggestion we appreciate because the cooler weather will give them a healthier start. Five stars for Plymouth Nursery."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Some companies offer hazardous waste removal, but additional fees and special handling procedures may be required.

Lead removal can take a few days to several weeks, depending on the work needed, particularly if the lead is widespread and in hard-to-reach areas.

The EPA enforces hazardous waste laws and ensures people dispose of their hazardous waste responsibly. Depending on where you live, your state’s hazardous waste regulatory agency may also enforce these laws. Individually, it’s up to each household to properly dispose of their hazardous waste.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

It is safe to remove old linoleum, but it may require the help of a specialist due to the risk of asbestos in the material. Before you cut into linoleum or try to peel it up, have it tested for asbestos. If it tests positive, professionals will need to remove it to prevent the risk of health issues from airborne toxic particles. If it’s asbestos-free, DIY removal is possible and safe.
