"The job was to be done in two days, and the three men who arrived in the morning finished the job in one day. The removal of the one chimney included the replacement of "felt" and new shingles close to the color of existing shingles on the roof. The other chimney is in use because it is needed for the hot water tank. A new 35ft liner was installed. The mortar joints were grinded out, repointed and waterproofed. A new crownsaver/seal and cap was installed on the chimney. The chimney to the hot water tank was an ongoing problem with moisture on the walls in one room for years and the house is close to 85 years old. They did an outstanding job and cleaned up the bricks, etc from the chimney that was removed."

"Mike and Jim were wonderful. Mike handled the interior project and Jim handled the exterior project. Very easy to work with. We had issues with the contract initially and getting the project moving because there was a change in Project management. But Jim the Owner was very generous to make things right once he took over the project. Schedule was done consistently to completion and we had a few cracked tiles after completion and they quickly came back to correct them. No issues now 1 year later. We love all they did. Quality is very good. I would recommend them to anyone now that Jim took over the project management. We purchased the door and tile ourselves so this is not in the cost of service."

"As noted above, this company no longer does the type of services we were looking for.  He said they got rid of their ladders and no longer do roofing / siding type work.  So, just FYI, in case that is what you may be looking for.  Don't call these guys.

"We called him to remove the live bird that had fallen down our chimney and was trapped in our living room fireplace behind the glass screen. He came immediately and removed the bird, which turned out to be a robin, to his surprise. He gave us a "free" estimate for chimney caps at that time and charged us close to $200 (which seemed high for critter removal that didn't take very long and didn't seem very dangerous). We decided to get the chimney caps and dormer seals because this was the second time in 10 years that a bird had gotten trapped in one of our two chimneys. The price for the additional work was high but seemed reasonable, given the materials and labor. It also included a 10% senior discount, which was appreciated."
