Customers say: Super punctual

"Insulwise came highly recommended by Aeroseal for insulating our attic and garage ahead of winter. Brady, during the initial consultation, thoroughly discussed various insulation phases based on our budget. We decided on blown-in cellulose for both spaces. The team, Pat, Andrew, and Justin impressed us with their professionalism and completed the project efficiently in just 4 days. Andy also showed up a couple days to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Their attention to detail in boosting insulation levels was evident, and it significantly improved the overall comfort of our home, maintaining consistent temperatures even during external temperature drops. While Insulwise wasn't the most budget-friendly option, their expertise and exceptional service make them our top recommendation for anyone seeking high-quality insulation solutions. Choose Insulwise for a job well done."

"Dealing with Casey Insulation was great. They installed attic and garage insulation at my daughterâ s home in one day, and were meticulous in protecting exposed areas and in cleaning up, even though there was little to no mess. Owner Bob Casey is hands-on in the process, even stopping by on the install day to check the work. His son, Sean, explained the process and showed me the attic results when finished, which I appreciated. I highly recommend this company for anyoneâ s home insulation needs."

"It was a pleasure dealing with Mincin and the final result made it worth the expenditure. They did cellulose attic insulation as well as dense packing the floor of an addition from its crawl space. Quite a difference!"

"Bob and his team were great. Bob gave honest advice on the best option to insulate my attic and crawl spaces. The main issue we had was our infants bedroom which had brick walls and 2 windows making it very drafty. While the insulation made a noticeable difference overall, our sons room was still a bit drafty which we expected due to the brick outer walls. Still worth every penny."

"Their crew is very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave me tips on how to take care of little things to improve around the house in addition to the service they did (fill gaps and blown insulation). They never tried to push me to buy additional services or anything and were very honest as to what needed done at my place. Totally recommend!"

Insulation questions, answered by experts

The most affordable way to insulate behind unfinished walls is to install fiberglass batts or rolls. These total around $0.75 per linear foot, with the width matching the gaps between standard studs perfectly. However, it’s important to consider the R-value of your insulation and the climate in your area, as fiberglass insulation isn’t the best in terms of preventing heat transfer. Plus, the most affordable option may cost more on electricity bills over time. The most affordable way to insulate behind finished walls is to leave them up and use blown-in insulation to avoid drywall replacement.

Without a doubt, insulating a garage door is a surefire way to make your home more energy efficient. Not only does insulating your garage door reduce your electric bills, but it also helps protect your valuables inside your garage, all while making for a quieter interior space.

In regions that drop below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, your car's battery is at risk of malfunctioning in a garage that drops dangerously low. So, homeowners who reside in extremely cold climates can especially benefit from insulating their garages.

One of the clearest signs that your insulation isn’t working as well as it should be is a noticeable difference in temperature throughout your home. One room might feel icy while another is hot as Arizona—this indicates that some parts of your home are either retaining or losing heat more than others. Additionally, a sudden increase in your energy bills, evidence of pests or rodents, or evident water damage are other signals that warrant a thorough inspection of your insulation and potential replacement.

The thickness of floor insulation will depend on the R-value you plan to achieve. R-value varies on the type of material as well as its thickness and density. Insulation materials with low R-values can be layered to match the value of denser materials. As long as your floor insulation is packed tightly, seals the area from drafts, and doesn’t prevent ventilation, it can be as thick (or thin) as you need.

Yes, energy-efficient homes are increasingly desirable in the market.
